Additions include Recaro sport seats, a Torsen limited-slip rear differential, revised suspension tuning with unique spring and damper rates, and a larger rear stabilizer. The Laguna Seca model loses its rear seats, which are replaced by a cross-car X-brace to increase structural rigidity approximately 10%. It rides on 19×9-inch front (255/40-19) and 19×10 inch rear (285/35-19) light-weight alloy wheels with R-compound ultra high-performance tires. Ford Racing front brake ducts help cool the brakes. This is a Rare Limited Edition 2013 Ford MUSTANG BOSS 302 LAGUNA SECA. It is number LS 657 and was built 11/2012. It is finished in Black with low gloss Sterling Gray Boss decals as pictured. This sterling gray also covers the mirrors and rear spoiler. Charcoal Black Cloth interior with Recaro seats. The Recaro Sport Seats have embroidered BOSS 302 Logo. The rear seat is deleted on the Laguna Seca and an X brace is in its place for increased structural rigidity. It has been driven ONLY 589 miles, it looks like it just rolled out of the factory. Just barely broken in! The naturally aspirated 302 / 5.0 Liter 4 Cam 4 Valve motor produces 444 Hp and has a 6 Speed Transmission. Torsen 3.73:1 Ratio Differential. It has both the regular key and the red track key from the factory with Quad Outlet Side & Rear exhaust. Brembo 4 piston brakes with Ford Racing front brake cooling ducts. The original wheels were powder coated black for an amazing look. Mounted are performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa 255/40ZR19 on 9" wide wheels front and 285/35ZR19 on 10" wide wheels in the back. It has the front splitter and large rear spoiler for increased down force for track use. Independent rear suspension. Revised suspension tuning with unique spring and damper rates and larger rear stabilizer. Sport-tuned traction and stability control. On the underside, most original stickers are in place on the sway bars and the exhaust. The Laguna Seca maintains street legality while bridging the gap between the Boss 302 and the track only 302R and 302S of Ford Motorsport. In other words a street legal race car. What a beauty! The shape is so full of vintage Ford DNA that could pass a paternity test with Steve McQueen's '67 fastback, and the Boss 302 decals are dead-ringers for Larry Shinoda's original design. The car comes by its credentials honestly, and with the Laguna Seca package, it looks like it just stepped off the race track and hasn't yet peeled off its racing suit. A deep chin splitter is probably great for pinning the car to the pavement at speed, but you should use care around town to keep from scuffing it (obviously the first owner drove with a spotter at all times). The black paint is worlds better than you'd expect from a production car, suggesting that maybe Ford recognizes that these cars will be icons for decades to come. And it all remains in factory-fresh condition. If you had any concerns that this car wasn't the real deal, one glance at those heavily bolstered seats with provisions for 5-point harnesses should dispel them instantly. Ford promotes the car as track ready, and after adding those aforementioned harnesses, you're ready to rock. The steering wheel is wrapped in grippy alacantara, the shifter knob is exactly the right size for your palm, and the gauges tell you exactly what you need to know, when you need to know it. The rest of the interior is standard Mustang, which is to say, pretty darned good all around, and while the original Boss was stripped down to fighting weight, this one includes A/C, power everything, and a kickin' sound system that can actually compete with the bellowing exhaust. Oh, and one other thing: the Laguna Seca is strictly a 2-seater, with the back seat jettisoned for weight savings and the opening reinforced with a cross brace to sharpen handling. The Boss 302 comes by its name honestly, with a 5.0 liter DOHC V8 living under the hood. With 444 horsepower on tap, it rips savagely through the quarter mile in about twelve-and-a-half seconds, completely destroying anything from the '60s, including the mighty Boss 429. They dressed it up for show, but the combat-ready gear is hidden, in the form of adjustable shocks, special springs and sway bars, and massive disc brakes at all four corners that can take the punishment of hot lap after hot lap. The 6-speed manual shifts crisply, feeding a Torsen limited slip and 3.73 gears, so it digs out of corners like it's attached to a giant recoiling rubber band. With a tunable exhaust, you'll find yourself looking for excuses to rip through the gears, and special alloy wheels and grippy Pirelli tires round out the package. The hottest Mustang in years, this Boss 302 is a sure-fire future collectable. With only 11,900 original miles and an awesome color combination, this is the one collectors will want in 40 years. If you want a future collectable, forget the porky GT500 and take this Boss home instead. Any American with a pulse will recognize this Mustang instantly. The shape is so full of vintage Ford DNA that could pass a paternity test with Steve McQueen's '67 fastback, and the Boss 302 decals are dead-ringers for Larry Shinoda's original design. The car comes by its credentials honestly, and with the Laguna Seca package, it looks like it just stepped off the race track and hasn't yet peeled off its racing suit. A deep chin splitter is probably great for pinning the car to the pavement at speed, but you should use care around town to keep from scuffing it. The black paint is worlds better than you'd expect from a production car, suggesting that maybe Ford recognizes that these cars will be icons for decades to come. This is one of the rare Boss 302s that has actually been driven, but thanks to a very careful owner, it still looks very, very good despite the mileage. Forget low-mileage garage queens, this one is dialed-in and ready to rock at a discounted price! If you had any concerns that this car wasn't the real deal, one glance at those heavily bolstered Recaro seats with provisions for 5-point harnesses should dispel them instantly. Ford promotes the car as track ready, and after adding those aforementioned harnesses, you're ready to rock. The steering wheel is wrapped in grippy leather, the shifter knob is exactly the right size for your palm, and the gauges tell you exactly what you need to know, when you need to know it. The rest of the interior is standard Mustang, which is to say, pretty darned good all around, and while the original Boss was stripped down to fighting weight, this one includes A/C, power windows, cruise control, a tilt column, and a kickin' sound system that can actually compete with the bellowing exhaust. Oh, and one other thing: the Laguna Seca is strictly a 2-seater, with the back seat jettisoned for weight savings and the opening reinforced with a cross brace to sharpen handling. This car also includes a built-in harness bar for the 5-point belts; you know, just in case. The Boss 302 comes by its name honestly, with a 5.0 liter DOHC V8 living under the hood. With 444 horsepower on tap, it rips savagely through the quarter mile in about twelve-and-a-half seconds, completely destroying anything built in the '60s. They dressed it up for show, but the combat-ready gear is hidden, in the form of adjustable shocks, special springs and sway bars, and massive disc brakes at all four corners that can take the punishment of hot lap after hot lap. The 6-speed manual shifts crisply, feeding a Torsen limited slip and 3.73 gears, so it digs out of corners like it's attached to a giant recoiling rubber band. With a tunable exhaust, you'll find yourself looking for excuses to pull it through the gears, and special alloy wheels with contrasting red inserts and grippy BFGoodrich radials round out the package. The hottest Mustang in years, the Boss was refreshing. It's a sure-fire collectable that's already commanding a substantial premium. Or you could just take this one home today.
