Thank you for viewing my auction. After being disappointed by the other Shelby GT500's out there (both condition wise and price wise) and looking at this one, please feel free to message me. Most with more miles are in the $35K+ range, not nearly as nice as this one, and with out the preventative maintenance, rear differential/drive shaft painting when near new, and $5K+ in upgrades. This car was over $45.760 new with its unique options and original owner payed $15K over that. If you remember, these cars were originally said to only be made for 2007 and 2500 units made, so most of us had to pay way over sticker, just to get one! This one was special ordered with its options. Very rare to find in such immaculate, garaged kept condition with these options and upgrades. Only hand washed and waxed. Absolutely everything works as it should. No odd noises, smells, vibrations, or issues. Stunning color combination. All body panels are original and no accidents. You can shave in the original Ebony Black paint. Hand rubbed to perfection with no swirls and looks like a mirror! No check engine lights, dash warning lights illuminated, or any issues, of any kind. Look at all the reflections in the beautiful paint in the pictures below. Pride of ownership shows in every aspect of this immaculate sports car. It drives like a dream. This cream puff is only being sold as I accepted this as a partial trade for another collector car and and have too many vehicles. My 150+ pictures explain this car well, including detailed underside shots. If there are no underside shots of another Shelby GT500 you are looking at, ask for underside photos, as many original underside components were NOT painted by SVT/Ford and started rusting immediately. This car was professionally done soon after purchase, so no rusty differential, driveshaft, etc. This car is spectacular!! This immaculate car honestly looks and smells like new! Seats obviously treated with conditioner often as they are silky smooth leather wise, and foam is still firm. Smooth power, transmission shifts perfectly, no overheating even in 110+ degree heat. Car needs nothing. Paint is like glass and very nice. All original Carlite glass had no chips. You will not find a nicer, immaculate, no worry Shelby GT 500 for this price!! I am VERY familiar with these GT500's as I purchased several new and have worked on many since new I know their good points and the bad. Everything on this car is taken care of and there are no worries!! 535 RWHP ( 600 Flywheel Horsepower) and 0-60 in 3.2 seconds with the upgrades. FROM HERE ON, I WILL EDIT IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES, SO PLEASE CHECK BACK................... Amazing SMG manual transmission with paddle shifters (was a $2400 option). No clutch pedal. In manual mode, you shift with paddles up and down for all 6 gears. When you want to be lazy, or your wife wants to drive, put it in D mode and it will shift on its own. Tires are around 85% in the front, and rears were just replaced (since pictures were taken last week) and are ZR rated Nitto 555 Extreame's front and rear. Wheels are 2 piece BMW units (gorgeous) and in great shape, even backsides of them have been periodically cleaned. Many original markings on the immaculate underside, which has been wiped down and looks beautiful. Look at the incredible original exhaust!! Car needs nothing at all to enjoy now and will continue to climb in value as the E46 is very sought after and there are few examples remaining not abused, let alone in this color combination. In my 20 years in the Mustang business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer, well maintained, immaculate vehicle! Most would mistake this car for a near new one. The new BMW's, many consider to be not nearly as hands on, fun cars like the E46 version M3 like this one. I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) that is over 10 years old and still looks and drives like new. Interior even still smells new. Cigarette lighter never used. Nothing leaks, drips, or seeps. It is very easy to drive and maneuver. This car gets 23+ MPG on the freeway with ease. It starts the first time, EVERY time. It idles smoothly and does not smoke. No misses or hesitations. Not driven by kids, only mature adults. Original seat belts are excellent. Factory interior buttons look like new. Both keys and remotes are included as are the owner's manuals and handouts with leather case. Original tool kit is on underside of trunk as shown in the pictures. You simply will NOT find another like this. This is a one in a million E46 M3 Convertible, hands down! Underside, and engine box kept clean since new as is the exterior and interior. Carpet is immaculate and apparently covered with mats since new. Front rubber mats come with car, but are just to protect carpets and not original OEM. Seats look very nice too. No holes or unraveling anywhere an the original carpeting. Padding in seats and carpet feel new and tight. All power motors in windows, seats, mirrors, trunk, top, etc work like they should. Nothing does not work like it should that I know of or that BMW Master Tech found this week. Doesn't smell like it has been smoked in. Still has new car leather smell. Just look at the pictures, they really explain this M3 Convertible, hands down, better than I can. A/C is ice cold, and heat hot. A/C is colder than any car I have ever driven. Here in Palm Springs, CA, after 5-6 minutes, I have to turn the A/C to a higher temperature, unlike all my other vehicles, which will not freeze you like this car! Everything on this amazing E46 Convertible M3 works. No squeaks, rattles or wind noise with top up. Only flaws at all on this car that I can find or think of is there are a few rubber coated panels around seat belts that have rubber peeling, the rear view mirror is discolored inside, driver's side door interior panel has a small chunk missing the size of a pencil erasure on bottom, pass side center dash air vent missing center adjuster, there is a few small scuffs , chips, dings, and scratches in original paint, most of which has been touched up with OEM touch up paint and buffed. All hard to see unless I point them out and most are so small they would not show up in pictures. I feel this car has less wear an tear than you would expect for a car 10 years old. The E46 will never be made again, so grab a nice one such as this while you still can!! This car is spectacular and so much fun to drive! I have been told by anyone I have met or have known for 35+ years, that I am the pickiest person they know. I just believe in being up front and honest about any flaw I can see as I want to be treated in the same manner when I am purchasing something sight un-seen. I am selling my Torch Red 2003 Mach 1 with 81k miles. The miles that I put on it were 90% highway. Never been taken to the strip or raced. I bought the car about a year and a half ago and I am selling it because I need to pay for school and needing something more economical for commuting. I've never modded the engine or suspension, only performed routine maintenance. The only thing that I did to it is the black rear panel, taillights and rear valence. I also painted the center of the hood black because there was a crack in the paint. The engine runs fantastic and the car is completely stock with the exception of a CAI and catted Flowmaster 40s which sound great. Transmission feels good and it shifts nicely. Interior is in awesome shape, there are no rips or tears in the leather. That is the way I bought it and didn't change the exhaust because emissions testing isn't required in my county. Tires are stock size 245/45/17 and the fronts are a bit newer than the rears. The rotors, pads, and calipers in the rear. Imperfections are pictured regarding the hood and bumper but as you can see the rest of the car is near flawless. I repaired the top side hood and painted it, I nor the previous owner knew what happened and the paint is faded on the bumper. The previous owner barely drove the car. I am asking $11,500 OBO. These cars are rare and will only increase in value in the future, but I am willing to negotiate. I'm not interested in trades. I've got some cool Mach 1 floor mats that fit pretty well that a friend gave to me out of his '69, the buyer is welcome to have. Clean title in hand. This is a nice looking vehicle. The current owner is a young (16) Amish gentleman...so I am doing the listing in his behalf. He has only owned this car for one month and has driven it less than 100 miles. He purchased it from his uncle. I will refer any and all questions to current owner. He has another car so he does not need two. He wants to buy a snow mobile so this is another reason for selling. The car sounds great. He tells me the gear ratio's have been altered to beef up performance. He says the odometer reading is artificially high due to this alteration. I am certainly no expert on this. As noted, it has no rust, however body work has been done on the passenger rear quarter panel that needs to be finished. He has noted some coolant leak and states that the right rear tire looses air pressure over time. I suspect a small puncture or bad valve. He questions whether the rear speakers work. It has no smell of cigarette smoke. He believes he is the third owner. He possess a clean title. Requests cash or cashier's check. C4 tranny with new B&M Hammer shifter 600 cfm 4 barrel Edelbrock carb Aluminum driveshaft, new u-joints on both ends Ford 9inch rear-end with 3.25 ratio & posi Tires have less than 500 miles on them Eagle 5 spoke torque style wheels Headers with dual Flow master exhaust, nice throaty sound Matching blue interior in great shape! Nice black carpet Needs driver's side arm rest. Electric fan (installed on toggle switch) Red top Optima battery What it needs: Alternator (there is one there but I don't know how to do wire it; has a newer, serpentine style belt system) Car runs & drives, but slow starts when battery is low Gauges need to be wired (Tach has power but doesn't move when engine is revved) Speedometer cable, driven gear: these are really cheap online, I just don't want to put more money into this Back left quarter panel damaged due to previous owner driving it with 2 lug nuts, parts are about $260 total, labor depends on if you do it yourself)Fresh paint, this is a 10 foot paint job but it does look good while cruising!
