Up for sale is an`03 Ford Mustang GT. Approx 90,XXX miles. This is a 2 owner car, I have had it since 2004. The body is in pretty good shape, no accidents, minor paint issues here and there typical for an 11yr old daily driver at one time. Rims are in rough shape, will need tires. Interior has a few minor issues, tear in driver seat, cracked windshield. Engine runs great, JLT cold air intake, SCT tuned, Flowmaster axel back, BBK x-pipe w/cats. Rear end has been rebuilt 2 yrs ago, 4.10 Ford Racing gears . Now onto the bad, the transmission needs to be rebuilt. The 1-2 shift has syncro issues and the blocking rings for 3rd are worn. Very common failure for this transmission and shouldn't a problem to have repaired. I began to tear the car down for repair and then family obligations brought the repairs to a halt. I want to go in a different direction and really have no desire to rebuild and continue driving this car. Currently the X-pipe, driveshaft, transmission, clutch/flywheel have been removed from the car, so obviously there will be no test drives. Car ran and drove before disassembly. Other known issues are as follows, x-pipe exhaust manifold mounting studs on driver side exhaust manifold are broken and the A/C will need to be recharged. Also have a brand new Exedy Mach 400 Stage 2 clutch, never installed never taken out of the box. Asking $5000.00 or best offer, all original parts required to reassemble including new clutch are included in purchase price. SCT handheld tuner available for an extra $300.00, Tuner is $380.00 new. Item is available for local pickup, car will need to be towed. Shipping arrangements will need to be finalized prior to sale completion.
