1965 Ford Mustang !!! Here is a beautiful and great driving 4-speed 1965 Ford Mustang that is in great condition!!!! This great looking Mustang was originally from Southern California and just recently came to sunny Arizona. This car is a solid California car! This gorgeous Mustang features a professionally rebuilt performance 289ci V8 with I would say is putting out close to 300hp, a 4 speed transmission, 4 barrel carb, DISC Brakes, Power Brakes Cold and a beautiful red interior!!! This is a great drivers car! I normally build these Mustangs with all new parts and sell them for $25-28k, but this car is a solid, tight driving car with an older driver quality paint job and a great interior. The paint job is older and of nice driver quality and is not a complete show quality car. Its just a very nice car, and I thought it might be nice to have a car that is more affordable and something you are not afraid to drive. Don't get me wrong...You could easily bring this car to a casual weekend car show and have fun with it. The car just drives awesome. The car is very responsive, the power disc brakes with adjustable proportioning valve work excellent, the 4 speed shifts beautifully and the engine is both very powerful and responsive. There is LOTS of money that has been poured into this car and it truly shows. The car has a great "muscle car idle," and sounds EXACTLY the way a muscle car should. This is a solid rust Mustang with solid floors!!! The paint is of nice driver quality condition. You can take it to a weekend show and show it with pride or you can just have fun with the car and drive the wheels off of it and not worry. The paint job is at least 10 years old and there are some small areas that have been touched up with touch up paint, but overall it is very presentable. All of the chrome is in good condition. The only original chrome on the car is the vent window chrome. The exterior is really set off by the GT appearance and the great looking Pony wheels wrapped in brand new BFG white letter tires. This is a car that you could bring to a local car show and show it with pride, or you could go on great long weekend drives in. Overall the exterior is in Beautiful shape. The front and rear seats were recently reupholstered and are in excellent shape. The carpet is very nice and in excellent shape. The headliner and door panels are also new and finish the car beautifully. The dash pad is new and in perfect condition and is free of cracks etc... Every gauge etc... are all in great working order. All of the windows operate nicely. The interior has really been gone through from front to back and top to bottom with virtually everything being replaced. The original radio is still in the car, with an aftermarket modern radio mounted below and there are speakers in the kick panels. The interior was topped off with a beautiful shelby style wood steering wheel as well. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and like new! Click to enlarge Engine: The small block ford V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The engine runs beautifully and sounds awesome with its flowmaster exhaust! The engine was treated to a professional high performance rebuild with horsepower specs at or near the"k" code level. The car was treated to a performance intake manifold as well as a 4 bbl carb. This engine has had lots of money poured into it and the car and the car runs GREAT!!! The engine exhales through long tube headers and a true dual exhaust that sounds exactly as a muscle car should. The cars transmission shifts great through all 4 gears. The transmission shifts smoothly, is very responsive and is in great working order. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully and the suspension feels tight when driving down the road. This car also has dual circut disc brakes with adjustable proportioning valve and have power assist. The result of all of this time, effort and money is a great driving car! I haven't had so much fun and pleasure driving a classic mustang in a long time. This car recently completed a 65 mile drive in 110 degree heat and performed flawlessly.
