I purchased this 1925 Model T Ford over 12 years ago from a good friend of mine. This car has been garage kept since before I Purchased it.When purchased it was a complete car that needed to be completely renovated. On a personal level this is a labor of love and it has been a very difficult decision to sell. My health took a turn for the worse in 2012 I simply can no longer finish what I started. This car needs to be owned and finished by a person that intends to keep a true part of the history of the modern day automobile. I took this car down to the bare steel frame. I rebuilt over 90% of the cars wooden body chassis. It was rebuilt using dried Oak purchased from an Amish Lumber Mill. I planned each and every piece used to the exact width and thickness of the existing wood. Those pieces that were rotted to badly to use as a template, I used blue prints I purchased from a gentleman in Canada. After rebuilding the wooden chassis the metal panels were then nailed back in place, doors were hung and painfully readjusted. This car when finished will be about 95% original (in my opinion). Any mechanical part I replaced this far were either original or a authorized Ford replacement part. I purchased a brand new reproduced radiator made in original style by the Brass Works in California. This one piece was $1000.00. Motor and transmission were professionally rebuilt by a classic car garage (still in business) located in Cleveland Ohio. Rear end was drained flushed and oil was replaced with the suggested 600 weight drive train oil. New rear axle keys were put in place, rear brakes were replaced. Brand new reproduction Tires, inner tubes and flaps purchased from a tire manufacturer in Harrisburg PA. All four clincher's had to be replaced. I found and purchased original used clinchers from the Model T Haven Company. All four wooden spoke wheels are original. I have all the remaining metal trim parts required to finish the interior. I have two of the three seat springs required for the seats, although those should be replaced but can be repaired if you have the patients and time. All original glass is there 1 rear side glass is broken, lower windshield glass has one crack all glass should be replaced with safety glass to make the car a little safer when driving. I did remove the original timer from the rebuilt engine and replaced it with a modern distributor. Using a distributor allows for the engine to be easier starting and more reliable when driving. New Champion spark plugs were installed along with new wiring. Spark advance rod was replace as required when using distributor. The new throttle rod needs to be installed. The carburetor was replaced with an original carburetor. This car is electric start over crank, I mention this because the electric starter needs repaired. The Bendix was apparently repaired at some point and poorly done, someone decided they could spot weld the Bendix gear which proved to be unsuccessful. Parts are readily available through auto parts whom specialize in Antique Car parts. They are what I refer to as the big three, Mac's, Lang's and Snyder's. I have up to date parts catalogs from these three and more. Obviously I could go on and on with the description of this car and not mention every factor, new used or otherwise so please if you have questions contact me, the only stupid questions are the ones you did not ask. This car is being sold with a Notarized Bill Of Sale. Because of its age there was no title available. You will have to apply for one using the Bill OF Sale. Please look over all pictures, I have many others that I can provide to you should you have any specific concerns. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me. I will require the winning buyer to provide a non refundable deposit in the amount shown. Non refundable because as soon as this sale is tagged as SOLD eBay enforces all their fee's due, regardless of whether the buyer completes this purchase. Of course this deposit goes towards the final purchase price. Also This auction is for the vehicle as described, All taxes, title, and transfer fees as required by your state are the responsibility of the winning buyer. Winning purchase amount is for the vehicle only. All cost of transportation required to get this car to your destination are the responsibility of the winning buyer. FINAL PAYMENT AMOUNT OF PURCHASE PRICE IS EXPECTED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE DATE UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN AGREED TO. NO OTHER EXCEPTIONS! THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES MADE OR IMPLIED FOR THE PURCHASE OF THIS VEHICLE. YOU ARE BUYING IT AS IS, WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS. PLEASE RESTORATION ON THIS VEHICLE IS NOT COMPLETED, THERE IS WORK TO BE DONE. REMEMBER THIS CAR IS 90 YEARS OLD AND NOT READY TO BE DRIVEN. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES BEFORE BIDDING, IF YOUR NOT SURE WHAT YOUR BUYING PLEASE ASK!

1925 Ford Model T Coupe, commonly referred to as a 'doctor's coupe' back in the day, this nice old antique is in excellent condition, recently restored. I purchased this car several months ago and it was in relatively good condition when I bought it, and appeared to have had an easy existence. Much of the car is original and virtually rust-free, several restoration/repair items have been performed to include: Engine has been disassembled and gone through for any significant problems. New rings were installed, valves were lapped and adjusted, bearing clearances were adjusted/shimmed to the specified 15/1000" clearance, cylinder head was resurfaced, new nickel plated head bolts and copper gasket installed. When I purchased the car, I discovered that the original 1925 engine block was severely cracked and the cylinder head was warped, and was no longer serviceable, and was replaced by a serviceable 1921 era short block and cylinder head. The original damaged engine block has been retained, and can be purchased separately and shipped separately from this eBay listing, please contact seller if the original block is needed for authenticity purposes, and seller can price this damaged block for sale and shipment based on location of the ultimate purchaser. All tires including spare have virtually zero miles on them, although they were installed at some point in the past by the previous owner(s), and are road ready. All rims including spare rim have been serviced to insure reliability and all wood spokes have been checked for tightness and re-varnished with 4 coats of spar varnish.New radiator installedBrake light actuated by foot pedal added for safety during operation, was not original equipmentAll three locks have keys and function as they should: ignition, passenger door and trunk.Coils have been tested, tuned and are functioning perfectlyRuns on both battery and magnetoMinor upholstery upgrades, although the existing upholstery is in very good condition with no tears or fraying apparent.Fresh trunk liner and carpet installedDoor panels re-upholsteredAll windows adjusted, serviced, lubricated and all 5 moving windows function as they shouldCarburetor rebuiltGenerator cleaned and brushes cleaned and re installed for maximum performanceThis nicely restored car runs, cools, stops and starts as it should, all systems including headlights, tail light and brake light, map light on dash and generator all function well and it is a reliable touring vehicle, and it does not appear to have excessive mileage on most of the components of the vehicle. Minor issues include a few oil leaks (standard on all Model T's), and is equipped with a non-original horn although the horn present is era correct. Many knowledgeable antique car enthusiasts have insisted that this 1925 model year Ford did not come with cowl mounted oil lanterns as standard equipment. I researched this issue, and have determined that indeed these functioning oil lamps were standard on all 1925 Model T's that were not equipped with optional generators. This car's lamps are authentic original equipment, and are in excellent working condition, with fresh oil and wicks that are ready to light when needed. Additional comments have been made by the same knowledgeable enthusiasts regarding the wooden spokes on the standard equipment wheels: Henry Ford had them all painted black. These spokes were originally painted black, and one of the prior owners took painstaking efforts to remove the paint and stain and varnish the original hickory hardwood. I personally prefer this look to the standard black paint, and chose to leave them as they are, even though this is not how the factory produced them. Certainly if this is an issue with any subsequent buyer as to originality, these spokes can be repainted black without much problem or cost. Sold on an 'as is, where is' basis with bill of sale only and Alabama registration certificate indicating the serial number 11654441. I purchased this car from an individual in Alabama who provided the registration document but insisted that no title was issued for cars 35 years old and older by the State of Alabama. Accordingly, no title will be issued with sale, and buyer will be responsible for obtaining a title in states that require such documentation. $1,500.00 nonrefundable deposit via PayPal required within 48 hours of sale, and the balance due within 7 days of sale. All funds must clear seller's bank prior to release of the vehicle to the buyer or buyer's agent for transport. Seller can assist the transport company with loading the vehicle onto buyer's trailer, but driving Model T's onto trailers is tricky and even the most experienced Model T drivers cannot warrant that they will not have issues loading these old cars into tight spaces typically present on car haulers. IMPORTANT NOTE: 1925 authentic Illinois license plates shown in photos are not included with the car, seller will remove them upon sale to ultimate purchaser prior to shipment.

This is a 1926 Ford Model T coupe. It has been through a complete restoration, and is in great condition. The engine and transmission have been refurbished; the interior fabrics have been replaced with materials that "matched" the original. It has new fenders and running boards (all steel, no fiberglass). It has the original paint and original leather roof. Our intent was to restore it to its original beauty. We purchased this car in 2006, and are the fourth owners. The vehicle has been kept in a garage for our tenure of ownership. From what we were told the 3 previous owners all stored it indoors as well. If you request a complete description of the "story" of this vehicle and its previous owners, I can send it to you, as its a bit lengthy for this description. This vehicle has been a great conversation piece and "look what I have" to show people that would come and visit. It has been a fun piece of history in our garage, and now can be in yours. (movemycar.com can give you an estimate on shipping the vehicle if you're not in the south florida area)
