I'm the second owner and both myself and original owner have kept the vehicle stored inside. This is a "True" Survivor and is unmolested. It has a custom dual exhaust which bolt to the original exhaust manifolds. It has had a new 2bbl carburetor installed on the original 2bbl intake. The original owner installed a manual choke cable on it (which it still has). I was going to put an electric choke on it but haven't gotten around to it. It has a new water pump and radiator and comes with a new battery. This baby purrs and starts right up and is strong. I planned on pulling the engine and taking it apart just to freshen it up with new paint and complete gasket set etc... but don't have time. the vinyl top is perfect and interior and headliner are as well except for one small spot on drivers side which has separated but probably can be sewn. I have all of the original parts and so forth and all original paper work to include "SHOW ROOM STICKER". I also have the original owners manuals, parts manuals and repair manuals ordered from Ford. This car has won many trophies and awards in car shows etc.... the trunk is perfect with all original full size spare and jack and all stickers etc.... This is a Gem and has great potential as all windows and rear vent windows work and all glass is perfect etc.... Vehicle is sold "AS IS" AND PLEASE SERIOUS ONLY

1964 Ford Galaxy 6 passenger Country Sedan. Running car with 390 engine and C6 transmission, equipped with power steering and brakes. VIN # 4J72Z103488 This restoration started with a very solid and straight 1964 Ford Country Sedan purchased in Southern California in 2005. The only rust included a small area in the passenger floor pan, some pin holes along the left rear of the top and the bottom of the tailgate (which was replaced). I have several photos of the car before any body work was done providing clear evidence of what was needed to be repaired. All of the body (outside, underside and interior) plus fenders, doors, tailgate and frame were media blasted. All the body work is completed and body primed. The underside and interior has been epoxy primed and the inner doors, rear quarters, top and tailgate have been sprayed with a ceramic insulation (Lizard Skin). All body rubber mounts have been replaced. The car is ready for prep, finish primer and paint. The frame and all other under body and under hood metal parts have been powder coated (including front inner fenders); the suspension and steering have been rebuilt including all new springs (front and rear), new ball joints and bushings as well as inner and outer tie rods. The engine block, manifolds, heads and valve covers have been painted Old Ford Blue. The heads have been rebuilt, new valves, guides, springs and etc. The stock carburetor has been rebuilt. The gas tank has been refurbished and carries a lifetime guarantee. The brake and fuel lines are new. The wheels and brake drums are powder coated and the drums have been turned with new brake assemblies installed. The tires are like new. The firewall has been painted Salmon Coral, our color choice for the car. The interior door panels are intact and are in good condition needing only to be re covered. All the glass is in good shape including the large rear sides. I have a new front windshield. The steering wheel needs to be replaced or refurbished and of course the seats have to be redone and it will need a head liner. I have two tail gate window assemblies, manual and power. The bumpers have been re chromed. All other bright work with exception of the tailgate stainless steel molding are in very good shape The dash is in good shape, needing only to be repainted or covered and the gages need to be repaired or replaced. The restoration process has been photographed and everything that has been done to the car is documented. Anyone who is interested can talk to the body shop to get their professional assessment of the car. At this stage a buyer has the option of completing the project as a stock restoration or making modifications. You will not find a nicer Country Sedan project car anywhere. This is a no surprises car ready for your inspection including a large collection of restoration photos.
