2001 Ford Focus SE Wagon only 135k- Inline 4 Cylinder Motor The silver exterior is in decent shape. There are some nicks and scratches here and there (see pics). All 4 tires on this car are Dunlop's and in good shape, and have plenty of miles to go. This vehicle is in passable condition overall. There are a lot of little things that need attention. Fix and SAVE. You will then have a very nice little GAS SAVING WAGON and you'll be glad you got it so cheaply. This vehicle has ONLY 135,408 miles on it. The interior on this vehicle is in need of some attention, but far from beyond help. The inline 4 cylinder engine and cargo carrying capability make for a fuel efficient, comfortable wagon that can transport whatever you need! This vehicle starts up immediately and runs pretty well. The AC compressor kicks on but does not blow cold, needs Freon and service, but the heat and the radio both work fine.PLEASE WATCH VIDEO AND LOOK AT ALL PICS BEFORE DECIDING!!!!! I will pick you up at the Salisbury, MD airport or bus station during normal business hours or by appt. I will provide 60 day DE temp tags if needed. I reserve the right to cancel bids from bidders with a feedback score of less than (5). Nothing personal, but I have had nothing but bad experiences with new ebayers. There is a $200 fee on all vehicles sold. This covers fixed costs, lien verification and other expenses. Your deposit is not refundable.

NEEDS WORK. Exterior has dents and dings, paint chipping on hatchback, problems with power steering, front exterior door handles, cruise control, heater core. Fair shape, will be a nice vehicle after repairs. New timing belt in 2012, has been sitting for a year but have started it and it runs and the transmission moves the vehicle.

This is a nice Focus SE wagon, with low mileage that runs and drives excellent. This car has no issues and  has a current Massachusetts emissions and safety sticker. Everything works as it should. These wagons are very popular and finding nice ones is becoming harder because only a limited number were made. These cars are great on gas and very dependable. If you are shopping for a car in this price range, I don't think you will find a nicer one. I'm considered an expert at what I do. Fully licensed by the state of Massachusetts and in business since 1974. I don't buy trade-ins or cars that someone is getting rid of. You can fly in to Boston and we can meet you with the car at the bus station. Then we will put you on the highway heading home.  If you would like to call me about this car, or would like to drive it, my number is: 508 994-9206. Please click the red and blue ME next to my user name. This will bring you to a tutorial I wrote on how to buy a used car in this price range, as well as some personal history. Thank you and take care,  Dickie.

I bought my faithful Focus wagon in November 2007, right here on Ebay. It has been extremely loyal, with no major issues, until now. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but do not tackle the more complicated jobs. Through the years, the most complicated tasks I performed on my wagon were replacing the timing belt and water pump (at 120K miles), and the passenger side cv axle (at 179K miles). When I replaced the axle, I did not replace the oil seal, through which the transmission oil leaked and caused the trannie to fail. I have since replaced the seal and serviced the transmission (replaced oil and filter), hoping that would do the trick, but no luck. Replacing the trannie goes beyond my capabilities, so here's my dear wagon listed for sale. Below there's a list of items that need attention and miscellaneous wear and tear:Transmission needs replacementThere is a recent engine oil leak (see pic). I replaced the valve cover gasket last year (leaked), so I'm not sure whether the leak is coming from there again or somewhere else. The front driver seat cushion has a tear (see pic)The front passenger seat cushion has a couple of stains (see pic)There are several stains on the carpet and ceilingBoth driver side exterior door handle brackets need replacingThe engine light is on. Code P0420 (see pic)There are missing paint chips on the rear bumper and passenger side fender, minor rust on the passenger side bottom (see pic) and a bowl like depression on the roofItems I replaced just within the past year:HeadlightsTailightsFront brake pads, rotors, and wheel bearingsRear brakes and wheel bearingsValve cover gasketRack and pinionRight CV AxleAll four tiresFront passenger window regulatorBoth rear window regulatorsOne rear hatch strutLate in 2012, the car had a fender bender that compromised the right side fender and front bumper. I replaced the fender myself with a used black fender, and had a shop repaint the right side of the bumper. No damage to the frame or any components other than those already mentioned. There are no related performance, mechanic, cosmetic or other issues. As seen on pic of cargo space, there are miscellaneous new parts that will come with the vehicle: Front brake pads and rotors, oil filter, headlight, stoplight and license plate bulbs, one rear hatch strut, and one rear door exterior handle/bracket. I toyed with the idea of purchasing a remanufactured transmission and a transmission jack, but I finally accepted that the job is just a bit too large for my set of skills. I love this car, its reliability and large cargo space, but its time to let it go to someone with more mechanical skill. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! On Apr-05-15 at 09:45:08 PDT, seller added the following information: There are a couple of dings on the good and hatch door that I didn't originally mention. It's hard to capture them on pics, but I attached them below none the less. On Apr-05-15 at 10:02:50 PDT, seller added the following information:

This Ford Focus SE Wagon runs and drives great. The engine has a surprising amount of power for its 2.3L size. The car takes off and shifts very well. The A/C blows cold and the remote controlled stereo sounds great. I have invested some money in this car. It has a new IMRC solenoid and actuator (common problem with this car), a new alternator, a new downstream oxygen sensor, and a recently repaired oil pressure sensor leak. The spare tire and jack are in great condition. There are of course a few issues with the paint and some interior blemishes due to age. I purchased the vehicle near Philadelphia almost two years ago and have done a bit of work to the car since I've had it. It has a couple of quirks. The rear brakes squeal when the car is almost stopped - ought to be easily fixed with a set of higher quality brake pads. The third brake light is inoperative - that will need a new tailgate wiring harness to fix. The local repair shop quoted me $450 to have that repaired. I would do it, but I no longer need the car due to a change in my life circumstances. So, in short, a couple of relatively minor fixes should yield you a great, useful car that has lots of life left.
