The following work (approx. $1,500) has been done: new brake lines, wheel cylinders, front drum pads, new Holley carb, rebuilt distributor with Pertronix electronic ignition, new fuel pump, starter solenoid, alternator and battery. One other item I had to track down and install was a column mounted neutral safety switch (pretty expensive as these are rare). Original paint, some minor dents and bruises, minor rust -- but very solid for a mid-Atlantic car. 200 ci straight 6.She's got 64,000 miles and can be used as a daily driver or as a base for full restoration. Steering is a bit sloppy, but she is driveable and street ready. Local pickup (Philadelphia area) or buyer assumes shipping.

This Falcon is one of the most stunning and rarest 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. This is really where the pony car era started, falcons are the same chassis and engine as the first Ford Mustangs. This falcon is not to be compared with 6 cylinder Falcons, this one is a muscle car loaded with a solid V8, headers, dual exhaust and 3 speed automatic transmission and a stock 1963 Sprint rear-end (56.5”) giving you more clearance for wider tires. This Falcon it's nearly identical to a Sprint version. Includes front disk brakes. The color is an original burgundy with a white automatic power top. The paint job isn't perfect but from a few feet away looks great. This falcon has ton of character, I get tons of compliments every single time I drive it. - Runs excellent. the sound is totally off the charts.- The 3 Speed Automatic transmission is rock solid.- The car is ready to go! Starts right up ready to drive and drives like a dream car. - Spent over $2,500 on the brand new interior, the interior is excellent upholstery, carpets, dash and new door panels.- The white wall tires have about 300 miles- Headers and Dual Exhaust are about 8 months old- New aluminum radiator- The power convertible top works excellent. Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our very cool and absurdly rare 1963.5 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. Ford’s Flagship sport car just before the advent of the Mustang, this car is an excellent example of a rare combination of factory equipment, originality and pure California Cool. This Falcon was recovered from an estate sale here in so cal. It was disassembled but mostly complete. The gentleman who had begun the restoration was very meticulous about cataloging parts. We found zero body filler. All of the panels were very clean. Much but not all of the chrome was replated. Everything else was either completely rebuilt or replaced with OEM new. RarityWe used the term absurdly rare for this Falcon. While quite a few Falcons were built in 1963, this one sports a rare combination of being a Futura, Convertible, V8, 4 Speed car from the factory. It’s nearly identical to a Sprint except that is has the factory front bench seat (to keep the girlfriend close) and no tach on the dash. Few Sprints were built and even fewer still configured as a Futura like this one. Matching numbers, refinished to factory spec with a few upgrades, (the mid package; headers, exhaust, radio, wheels and tires). Exterior.Rangoon Red respray in 2016 is correct to the trim tag. Nice and clean original Rangoon Red paint can be found in the trunk and convertible top stowage area. Wheels, Tires15” Custom made Magnum 500 wheels and new Cooper Cobra tires. Original Futura hub caps and wheels are included. Engine260 CID Ford V8, headers and a fresh dual exhaust with chrome concealed tips. Freshly serviced radiator, new water pump, belts and hoses. I have a nice 1964 Ford Falcon Futura for sale. I bought this car from an older couple in Virginia. I have had it for several weeks. I've had someone paint it and it looks really nice. I have gave it a tune up. Had the brakes all checked and they are good. New ball joints and bearings. the engine is a 200 V-6. Does have duel exhaust and sounds like a 8 cylinder. Has around 125,000 miles on it. Runs and drives good. Its a automatic 3 speed. The engine is not original it was put in sometime in the 70's. I am the 3rd owner. Everything else on the car is original. The radio isn't original and doesn't work. I may see if I can get it working. Of course no power steering. The inside is in great condition. Carpet and seats are great. Heat and air work ok. This car is a head turner everytime I drive it. I get stopped every time I go out too with someone wanting to see it or ask me questions about it. The reason I am selling it is I am more a truck person. I'm looking for a 60's or 70's truck. Any questions please ask away. I know I probably have left something out. As I said I have had it several weeks and I am waiting on the title to come. I have all paper work showing I have applied to get it. The last vehicle I sold I didn't have the title yet and he bought it no problems and I mailed it to him when I got it. Sold it on ebay and he gave me great feedback. Same thing older Ford truck had to get the vin number matched up. When you buy an older vehicle out of state you to take it to make sure all the vin numbers match up. Private seller selling my 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible restomod. Car is immaculate and is a solid 9.0 to 9.5 out of 10.0. It features a 332 cubic-inch Ford stroker motor (early 90's Mustang 5.0L block), GT40 aluminum heads, mild cam (with slight "lick"), Doug's headers and Holley carb in front of a Ford T5 5-speed manual transmission. Estimated horsepower is around 325 hp. Car runs strong and cruises effortlessly at highway speeds at low RPM's (~2,000 rpm @ 70 mph) due to OD tranny. Rear end is a 3.50 posi-traction out of an early 1970's Ford Maverick. No leaks or drips from engine, tranny or rear end. Equipped with Ford Granada front spindles and disc brake assemblies. Drum rear brakes. Lowered all the way around. Power steering. Body and paint are immaculate. The body is rust free and straight as an arrow. The car was painted with base coat / clear coat over 12 years ago and has stood the test of time as it is still nearly perfect. Very glossy everywhere. All original Falcon trim was removed when car was restored to give it a very "clean" look. Underside of car is also immaculate and clean. Black vinyl interior is excellent. No interior defects at all. Carpet and seats and dash are excellent. Black power convertible top is in excellent condition as well as raises and lowers automatically as it should. Immaculate black boot cover included. Tires and brakes are excellent. Torquethrust wheels are excellent. I have a brand new vintage air AC system/kit that I purchased for the car (including a refurbished period correct under-dash Ford evaporator and blower unit) and have not yet installed it. This low mileage (36,618) 1963 Ford Falcon combines gorgeous 1960’s styling with power of the nascent muscle car era - This first generation Falcon was produced with the V8 in very limited numbers (only half of 1963) and served as the basis to the 1964 Mustangs. The Ford Falcon has really come into its own in the classic car market. No longer just the car that fathered the Mustang, the sensible style has matured into an instantly recognizable flair. This is especially seen on the top of the line Futura trim. 1963 falcon i beleive its a 289 small cam. headers nice intake and carb sounds strong not to radical motor is very good nice flow master exhaust looks fairly new. Transmission is a fmx recently rebuilt passing gear is not hooked up but it shifts fine, 3 55 rear end . The brakes have had some updating recently 4 wheel manual drums pulls slightly to the right after is sits for several days gets better with daily use. the front suspension is tight dosen't have any play but it dosen't drive good it road walks some steering box has some play I had the front end aligned and the shop said it drives bad because the steering box needs to be replaced but I really am not sure what the problem is. The body is pretty straight there is minor rust bubbles in both quarters on the very bottom lip where it rolls under and a few bubbles in front of the left tire the car does not need quarters! these are very minor bubbles and the car was last painted in 1992 so there are no hidden issues. The paint has a nice shine the worst flaws are a few scratches on the right quarter and a crack in the hood where i has a dent the size of a quarter fixed when the car was painted 20 years ago.Floor pans are great no rust at all the drive shaft tunnel is a little hacked up from the 4 spd but not too bad .The interior is still very nice considering its age there is minor fading which is pretty much just like it was in 1996 no rips or tears .The passenger front window is cracked and will need to be replaced.The car has been sitting for 2 years we got it limbered up but it will need some tinkering to be a daily driver motor trans and brakes are good the fan hits the shroud if you get on it very hard. Now for a little history on the falcon This car was restored by Homer Greenley in the early 80's he was in the upholstery business thus the disco interior. At the time it had a healthy 289 4 spd traction bars and ansen sprint wheels at that time it went a complete restoration fresh black laquer paint this car was probably one of the first cars in the falcon club of america which was founded here in Arkansas in 1979 I have talked to Mr Roy (founder of the club ) and he remembers homer and this falcon very well. I first saw the car when i was 15 and loved it my first car which i had at the time was a 1960 ranchero . On my 21st birthday I had a chance to buy my dream car ,the owner had retired and was no longer driving the=falcon the paint was showing its age but otherwise it was still a nice car. I had it painted in 1992 took it to local car shows and eventually swapped the 4spd for the fmx thats in it now. I sold the car in 1996 and never saw it again until two years ago when it turned up 3 hrs from me on craigslist .Amazingly the car is pretty much just as left it other than a little age and I am pretty sure the engine has been rebuilt or replaced I bought the falcon back and never really did anything with it the trans was weak and it basically set up neglected until a month ago . FIRST, THE ENGINE. IT'S A 350 CHEVY BLOCK OUT OF A 75 GMC 3/4 TON PICKUP. IT IS MACHINE SHOP BUILT WITH CHEVY 400 CRANKSHAFT WITH EXTERNAL VIBRATION DAMPER (3.5 " STROKE) 5.7 " SMALL BLOCK RODS AND 8.5:1 PISTONS. 3/4 RACE CAM AND HYDRAULIC LIFTERS. EDELBROCK ALUM HEADS AND PERFORMER RPM INTAKE MANIFOLD. MALLORY MAGNETO DISTRIBUTER AND COIL. VERY SMOOTH AND STRONG. TRANS IS TH700 R4 OUT OF A CORVETTE. RADIATOR IS NEW SIZED FOR LINCOLN ENGINE. IT NEVER OVERHEATS. HURST SHIFTER. BUCKET SEATS. UPHOLSTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED INCLUDING HEAD LINER AND CARPETS.CALIF CAR VERY LITTLE RUST IF ANY. I THINK SOME RUST SPOTS WERE FIXED IN THE FLOORBOARD UNDER THE DRIVER SIDE. SUSPENSION: SHOCK TOWERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND A SOLID CROSSMEMBER WELDED IN WITH MUSTANG II SUSPENSION. DISK BRAKS IN FRONT, ORIGINAL DRUM BREAKS IN BACK. I HAVE OWNED THE CAR FOR 15 YEARS. I'M GETTING OLD AND IT HAS TO GO. Power rack and pinion steering works great. Manual brake master cylinder. I couldn't fit the booster in there. It is a light car, and stop pretty well. If you can fabricate, you can put a booster cylinder in. There is one rust spot on the entire car. It is just above the rain gutter on the drivers side. No rust on the rocker panels or fenders. The heater is not installed in the car, but I do have it. I don't know if it works. But that comes with the car.

Car has recently installed new breaks, fuel pump, NEW Carb, rebuilt generator. also fairly new exhaust, many rebuilt cosmetic parts. Car is a 10 has low low original miles. Power convertible top goes up and down. Turn the key and go needs nothing, . Drives laser straight down the road. This Falcon is a head turner. Only thing not working is the windshield wipers and gas gauge. easy fixes. Check ford tag shown in pictures for more info on the This Falcon and its history. Salvage NEW MEXICO title because rear quarter was hit many years ago. Since then car has been rebuilt, restored and kept in a museum. Original steering wheel is in the trunk but replacement is on the car. Recent restoration of chrome, Interior is a 10/10, no rips, no dents, car needs a good home.
