1964 FalconSprint Convertible. Not one bit of rust anywhere. One family owned. Have the original WindowSticker, Ford Registered Owner Identification Card(Ford's version of a Protecto-Plate!) Original SalesPaperwork, and Owners Manual. Original CA black license plates that are in excellent condition. Been in the garage for 30+years. You'd be the second owner! This is a restorers dream. Extremely straight. The trim is there and excellent. One repaint way back when. Original blue paint and interior car with a white top(needs top redone, and the convertible top frame is in excellent condition). Has the original convertible top boot too. All glass there and good. Underhood # matches vin. Original engine and transmission, with a spare engine and trans if you'd like them. Youngest son thought he'd get the car back on the road and took some engine and suspension brackets n such and painted them some goofy colors, but that's nothing really-just looks stupid. All engine bracketry underhood all in place. Numbers matching everything. Original everything and in good shape. Interior original, with original deluxe wood steering wheel in great shape, dash unmolested, dash bezels not damaged or broken. Engine runs, but needs car gone through or restoration. If you have been looking for a Falcon Sprint Convertible-they're rare...one in this mostly original shape with no rust is pretty much unheard of. Look at the pictures...the car is excellent. Finding a one owner car with documentation...super rare. There is a reserve of course. Please don't bud if you don't intend to pay. No kneeling for the National Anthem. God bless America! Ask questions if you need to please.

Private seller selling my 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible restomod. Car is immaculate and is a solid 9.0 to 9.5 out of 10.0. It features a 332 cubic-inch Ford stroker motor (early 90's Mustang 5.0L block), GT40 aluminum heads, mild cam (with slight "lick"), Doug's headers and Holley carb in front of a Ford T5 5-speed manual transmission. Estimated horsepower is around 325 hp. Car runs strong and cruises effortlessly at highway speeds at low RPM's (~2,000 rpm @ 70 mph) due to OD tranny. Rear end is a 3.50 posi-traction out of an early 1970's Ford Maverick. No leaks or drips from engine, tranny or rear end. Equipped with Ford Granada front spindles and disc brake assemblies. Drum rear brakes. Lowered all the way around. Power steering. Body and paint are immaculate. The body is rust free and straight as an arrow. The car was painted with base coat / clear coat over 12 years ago and has stood the test of time as it is still nearly perfect. Very glossy everywhere. All original Falcon trim was removed when car was restored to give it a very "clean" look. Underside of car is also immaculate and clean. Black vinyl interior is excellent. No interior defects at all. Carpet and seats and dash are excellent. Black power convertible top is in excellent condition as well as raises and lowers automatically as it should. Immaculate black boot cover included. Tires and brakes are excellent. Torquethrust wheels are excellent. I have a brand new vintage air AC system/kit that I purchased for the car (including a refurbished period correct under-dash Ford evaporator and blower unit) and have not yet installed it. It is in the trunk and will be included with the car. Overall, a beautiful resto-mod that is gorgeous to look at, fast, reliable and fun-to-drive. I would take this car anywhere. There will be no disappointments. Vintage Mustangs are everywhere... how often do you see a vintage Falcon Convertible... especially a resto-mod? This car gets compliments and "thumbs-up" every time I take her out. If interested, contact me via eBay email with all your contact information, including full name and legitimate phone number. If you want to talk to me, include a phone number and I will call you back ASAP. If I cannot talk to you directly, there will be no sale. I also have the car "for sale" locally so reserve the right to end the auction early.

BEAUTIFUL AND CORRECT RANGOON RED EXTERIOR OVER RED SPLIT BENCH SEATING! INCREDIBLY CLEAN AND SOLID BODY, FLOOR PANS, AND TRUNK PAN! REGULARLY DRIVEN AND METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED BY THE SAME OWNER FOR OVER 21 YEARS!!! RIGOROUS SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE WITH LOTS OF NEW PARTS AND A FRESH SAFETY INSPECTION! DRIVE IT TO A SHOW, WIN A TROPHY, AND DRIVE IT TO THE NEXT STATE FOR ANOTHER ONE! CALL ME AT 941-286-0889 WITH QUESTIONS. THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED, VACUUMED, AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEW I recently acquired this beautiful 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible on trade from the previous owner of 21 years! The car was like a part of his family, and has been carefully maintained, regularly driven, and lovingly cared for since he bought it in 1994. Safety checked, serviced, and ready to drive anywhere you want to take it, this fantastic little convertible is the perfect car for hitting the Sunday shows, cruising to that regional event in the next State, or driving wherever you want! Please take a moment to read the detailed listing, look over the 100 extra-large detailed photos, and then call me to make it yours before someone else does it first! THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, AND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM WWW.LIGHTSTREAM.COM DESCRIPTION This 2nd Generation Falcon Futura is the perfect combination of power, style, and class that makes the collector car hobby so much fun to be a part of! Owned by just one person for the past 21 years, this car has been garage stored and babied and shows it! The bright Rangoon Red factory Ford color is correct to what the car was born with, but had been redone in the early 90’s. It still looks glossy, slick, and wet, and shows no more blemishes and signs of use than your average two year old car at the local dealers lot does! The car has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and stored indoors under a top quality car cover which is included. This has kept the car looking fantastic, with just the normal small scuffs, stone chips, and typical “regular use” light blemishes you would see on any car of this caliber and investment range. I have taken a 4x4 felt covered magnet over the entire painted surface of the car and it sticks like glue, as there is NO sign of any bondo or patch panels, and no sign of chicken wire or beer cans either. Just good old FORD factory steel, with solid seams at the rockers, correct rolls in the fenders, and no rot to be found. It is a super clean and straight body, with exceptionally nice gaps and panel fit. Trim and bright work on the car is original, and is in good condition all the way around. A weekend with some Mother’s polish and you can make it look even better than it does. Emblems and badging are in very good original condition. Chrome bumpers front and rear are original, look incredible, and are the kind of clean, straight pieces you just can’t get in a reproduction. Hubcaps are original, and show age and signs of use. They are mounted on original steel rims with black paint that has chipped in spots. All the wheels show good for driving and enjoying the car, but if you want to make it more of a full SHOW car, you’ll want to clean them up and paint the rims again. Tires are recent BFGOODRICH Radial T/A’s, and are sized P205/70R14. They have at least 70% of the useable tread remaining, and do not need replaced at this time. Glass on the car is in very good condition, with just light marks, if anything, to be found. There is no sign of laminate issues, and there are no cracks or splits in the glass. Rubber seals and weather stripping looks great, and the only sign of brittle rubber on the car is the vent window trim, which is original and has not been replaced in 51 years! It is still serviceable, but not up to scale with the rest of the clean, more recent rubber. The convertible top was replaced not too long ago, and it still shows wonderfully today! Keep in mind, this car has NOT been detailed, so some of the little water spots and things on the top should simply clean up when you prepare the car for its first show. There are no known rips, tears, or seam pulls, and the plastic rear window is fog free, and undamaged. The power top works just like it should, and goes up or down in a matter of seconds with the touch of the dash mounted switch. Latches seal it up tight, and I have had the pleasure of driving the car in a typical Florida torrential downpour, and it was leak and issue free for me. The tonneau was new with the top, and it fastens and sits just as it should, with all snaps intact and functional. It is clean, neat, and ready to show. Overall, the outside of this car is in 8.5 out of 10 condition, and when you take the time to detail it from stem to stern, it will show even nicer. Pop open the hood, and you are met with the cars original 260 V8 CHALLENGER motor that it was born with. The engine has been rigorously maintained over the years, with constant oil changes, preventative maintenance, and many OEM replacement parts installed to make sure it was reliable and ready to go. Recent upgrades on the car include the fuel pump, fuel lines, rotor, distributor, plugs, plug wires, carb cleaning, new fuel sending unit, water pump, battery, and a fully re-cored and pressure tested radiator. It starts easily, idles cleanly, and is ready to go at a moment’s notice. Snick the cars original 3-speed transmission into gear, ease out the clutch, and the 260 gives you power on demand at any throttle position! You can easily spin the tires if you want to, or let the power build through each shift until you are exceeding the speed limit! Power is smooth and steady, and ready to help you pass, merge onto the interstate, or just pick on that kid in the Honda Civic at the red light. There is no stuttering, no backfires, no fuel loading or starvation issues, and it is about as perfectly tuned as you could ask for. Engine note is healthy and mellow, thanks to the custom installed Cherry Bomb style mufflers put on with the fresh exhaust system. The prior owner kept fuel logs, and noted that on the highway the car averages about 18mpg, while in town, it sits at about 15mpg. Pop the trunk, and you get an original and ultra-clean floor pan with no signs of rot, rust, or prior repair. It has some marks from being used as, well – A TRUNK, but still looks great! The full-size spare is correct to the car, but not a modern radial. There is a jack and lug wrench included, as well as the original trunk pan liner in the same plaid finish as the spare tire cover. The liner has seen better days and is included for originalities sake, but you will probably want to just order a new one. Trunk seal is recent, like 90% of the other rubber bits, and shows wonderfully. Underneath the car, the chassis is clean and original, and shows very well. Pans are original and have no sign of rust, rot, or damage. The entire brake system was replaced just a few years ago, and it was then switched over to a full silicone fluid system for safety. USE ONLY SILICONE FLUID IN THE CAR! Braking is spot on, and the car scrubs off speed without any odd pulling, wander, excess fade, or unusual modulation. Ride quality is great, with just enough give to make all-day cruising seem like a Sunday in your favorite chair, and a steadiness from the newer shocks and modern radials that lets you have fun carving through those rural twist’s too. All of the suspension components, seals, bushings, bearings, kingpins, and rods have been checked and appear to be as recent as the prior owners notes said they were. Tracking is straight and true, and the car has the perfect amount of steering wheel feedback, and no slop or sawing when you drive it. One hand on the wheel is all it takes when flying down the interstate, and the car will easily manage highway speeds without complaint. Overall, the mechanicals of this car are in exceptional condition, and after spending about 150 miles behind the wheel, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Speaking of driving it, most of your time is going to be spent in the interior, and it is VERY nice! Door panels are original, clean, and show normal signs of use and wear. Door pulls and window rollers are original, and show light patina and age but work perfectly. Dice toppers were added to the tops of the door locks to compliment the red and white color scheme. They look great, and work perfectly, and the doors lock with the included key. Kick panels and rear panels are original, and show typical signs of normal use. Rear ashtrays, emblems, badging, switches, and climate controls are all original, appear in average or above condition, and do what they should without issue. Rear view mirror and convertible top chrome trim panels are original, show patina and signs of age, but work perfectly. Carpet is in above average condition, looks amazing, and is damage free. Seats are in very good condition as well, with no rips or tears, and the split front bench folds like it should to allow passengers easy access to the rear seat. Original steering column is topped by the original wheel which shows light patina and age, but could easily be refinished if you wanted. The chrome horn button has light patina and is non-functional, and the shift arm and signal arms show light patina but work perfectly. Dash is original, and has no cracks or damage. Front dash panel silver section looks great, and the gauge housing holds fully functional gauges for FUEL, TEMP, SPEEDO, and ODMOMETER. Odometer shows 89,381 miles, and the prior owner said he believed it to be correct, but the State of Florida, as they usually do, automatically exempted the mileage on the title when they moved here and registered the cars. Headlights work, hi beam switch works, turn signals work, hazards work, and the wipers work. The climate system works as it should. The radio is inoperative, and is not hooked up. I do not know if it works or not, and the prior owner never had it work either. The 12V cigar lighter works, and the car has a functional ashtray and fully lined glove box too. The interior presents wonderfully, and the patina on the original items I mentioned really isn’t bad, especially if you are going to drive and enjoy the car. According to the HAGERTY VALUE TREND VEHICLE INDEX, the car is valued as follows, and has had a slow and steady value growth over the the past 5 year period. Condition #1 = $41,300.00 These vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best car, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the car has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 cars is "concours." Condition #2 = $28,700.00 These cars could win a local or regional show. They can be former #1 cars that have been driven or have aged. Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and interior will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine compartment. The vehicle will drive as a new car of its era would. The one word description for #2 cars is "excellent." Condition #3 = $20,300.00 Cars in this classification could possess some, but not all of the issues of a #4 car, but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new, correct interior. #3 cars drive and run well, but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses, and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 car. Condition #4 = $13,500.00 These cars are daily drivers, with major flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 car. I have priced the car accordingly, and feel strongly that these affordable American Classic’s will continue the steady rise in value and investment return in the next 5 year cycle. In the area? Come see it. If not, fly down here for a personal showing! I am willing to bet that the first person who comes here to see it in person will buy it. The title is in the dealerships name, and this is NOT a consignment car. IT IS TITLED AS A 1973 FORD MILEAGE is showing 11,854 on the functional odometer, but it is being sold as mileage exempt at this time. It has an estimated 800-1000 miles since the restoration was completed in June of 2015. I think that about does it so far as information I can supply to you. As stated, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE a private viewing of the vehicle, or you can have an appraiser/inspector come see on your behalf PRIOR TO BIDDING. ********************************************** If you have any other questions, or want me to photograph something, or check something, please call me at (941)286-0889 for the fastest response. You are looking at a 1964 Ford Falcon Convertible, This car has been a personal project of a very good friend of mine who was building it for his wife, who was a breast cancer survivor, it was being built as a Breast Cancer Survivor themed car, as you can see by the pink ribbons that were inlayed in the seats. She beat the breast cancer but it had spread to other organs and she recently lost that battle. He now wants to sell this project car. The car has a complete frame underneath and everything is brand new, new floor pans, trunk pan, rear quarter panels, were all welded and placed by a professional vintage car shop. New Chrome bumpers still in the wrappers, The motor is a brand new Jasper 302 V-8, with head work and cam. The automatic transmission has been rebuilt, the rear end has been rebuilt, new wiring. Has all the parts to finish, has extra doors, 2 hoods, trunk lid, carpet (black), door panels, 2 front grilles, brand new Crager Mags with New Tires, complete dual exhaust, seats (black) were completely redone by a local ole school upholstery shop, the convertible top is in awesome condition, works well no issues with it. A lot of the parts were OEM, not remanufactured parts. For example had a hard time finding the full rear quarter panels, he could find the repair panels that go around the rear wheels, finally found them in California. This car was a Florida Car the person he bought it from owned it from the early 70's. Everything that was done or bought for this car, no expense was spared, over 4k just having the metal work done, 2k in having the seats re-done, And has a folder of receipts for all the other parts that he purchased. He has well over what he is asking... All this car needs now is someone to finish it the way they want too. Please email me with any questions you may have, The car has been sitting in his garage, that's why it looks so dusty, I was unable to get any under carriage pictures, but I did get a good look and can assure you that it looks brand new except being dusty. I will try to get some under carriage pictures in the near future. I see these cars completed from the ground up going for in the 25k and up price range, this car as I said just needs some ones time and sweat.....Please bid with " No Worries" Check my feedback... I can also help with affordable shipping if needed, I have shipped vehicles to several countries outside the United States, so this is not an issue.......Thank You For Looking !!!
