1970 1/2 Ford Falcon cloned to GT. Very rare car, very few out there due to low production in 1970. This Bird is a Barn find, almost rust free despite the almost 47 years (you can see pictures of car and undercarriage). Car has a professionally done newly rebuilt 8 cyl, 351W ford engine. Automatic transmission. GT back lights and GT emblem. Missing grille (you can buy aftermarket for $275.00 in ebay). Car is black inside and out with white stripes. Dash removed by prior owner to put in new electronics and fuse box (which will be included in sale). GT emblem and other original parts including dash in the trunk with no cracks, will go with the sale of the car (emblem alone is usually $400). Newly upholstered interior. Last picture (car in red) is how the car would look like with little effort. This is a project that needs very little to finish. I bought with the intention of restoring but ran out of money and association wants car out. Perfect father-son project. Sold AS IS, with no warranty stated or implied. Buyer solely responsible for shipping car and costs of shipping. Shipping can be arranged in the US through local carrier. Car located in Florida. No scammers or dreamers please. $8,249.00 OBO. No returns or exchanges. Ask all questions, or request additional pictures before bidding if in doubt. All representations of the car are made in good faith to the best of my knowledge and ability. Car easily worth $25,000.00 when fully restored.

The car's equipped with power steering and front disc brakes along with a power top. The interior is finished in a two tone tan with buckets and center console along with custom leather wrapped billet steering wheel, custom door panels, aux gauges and tach. The Ford Falcon has really come into its own in the classic car market. No longer just the car that fathered the Mustang, the sensible style has matured into an instantly recognizable flair. This is especially seen on the top of the line Futura trim with Sprint convertible package. Its premium status means this Falcon is dressed up with plenty of jewelry, ranging from the arrow-shaped side trim to the neat little "bombsight" fender ornaments up front. But this one has a bit more flair. You can see it in the added luster of a modern application of dark black paint that gives it the kind of luster that can rival all that chrome trim. Plus there's no denying the aggressive stance this one has while sitting on iconic Cragar wheels. You might have noticed some subtle red trim on the exterior, and you'll understand why this was done the moment you open the door. The full red interior keeps close to factory standards, which is quite nice on the range-topping Futura trim. The ribbed bucket seat covers look fresh and flank a correct center console with bright lid. Gorgeous door panels recall just a touch of the 1950s with their shiny materials and lots of polished trim. The familiar instrument panel is in excellent condition. The dash has all the original pieces right down to the hear/defrost controls. The only deviations are the upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo that's adaptable to listen to more modern tunes and an auxiliary set of gauges for added info. A cool touch is the floor-mounted gearshift for the three-speed automatic that's a nice preview of the enchantments under the hood. This Falcon came from the factory with a 260 cubic-inch V8, but one look at the engine bay, and you know there's plenty more here than what was installed at the Atlanta facility. It starts with the big Holley dual air grabber that feeds the Holley four-barrel carburetor on its way to the Edelbrock intake. This is backed up by reliable components such as the aluminum radiator, Mallory electronic ignition, steel braided hoses, stabilizer bar, and Edelbrock fined valve covers. The full package makes plenty of power, and everyone knows it thanks to the rumble of the dual exhaust. This is the kind of Falcon that you'll love to park next to Mustangs at car shows. After all, it's cool to present a father that can still out shine his son's performance tricks. This one is thoroughly sorted right down to the original owner's manual, which means you can pick up a very cool classic for well within your budget. DRIVE IT TO A SHOW, WIN A TROPHY, AND DRIVE IT TO THE NEXT STATE FOR ANOTHER ONE! CALL ME AT 941-286-0889 WITH QUESTIONS. THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED, VACUUMED, AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEW I recently acquired this beautiful 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible on trade from the previous owner of 21 years! The car was like a part of his family, and has been carefully maintained, regularly driven, and lovingly cared for since he bought it in 1994. Safety checked, serviced, and ready to drive anywhere you want to take it, this fantastic little convertible is the perfect car for hitting the Sunday shows, cruising to that regional event in the next State, or driving wherever you want! Please take a moment to read the detailed listing, look over the 100 extra-large detailed photos, and then call me to make it yours before someone else does it first! THIS VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN OUR POSSESSION, AND IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT VEHICLE. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM WWW.LIGHTSTREAM.COM DESCRIPTION This 2nd Generation Falcon Futura is the perfect combination of power, style, and class that makes the collector car hobby so much fun to be a part of! Owned by just one person for the past 21 years, this car has been garage stored and babied and shows it! The bright Rangoon Red factory Ford color is correct to what the car was born with, but had been redone in the early 90’s. It still looks glossy, slick, and wet, and shows no more blemishes and signs of use than your average two year old car at the local dealers lot does! The car has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and stored indoors under a top quality car cover which is included. This has kept the car looking fantastic, with just the normal small scuffs, stone chips, and typical “regular use” light blemishes you would see on any car of this caliber and investment range. I have taken a 4x4 felt covered magnet over the entire painted surface of the car and it sticks like glue, as there is NO sign of any bondo or patch panels, and no sign of chicken wire or beer cans either. Just good old FORD factory steel, with solid seams at the rockers, correct rolls in the fenders, and no rot to be found. It is a super clean and straight body, with exceptionally nice gaps and panel fit. Trim and bright work on the car is original, and is in good condition all the way around. A weekend with some Mother’s polish and you can make it look even better than it does. Emblems and badging are in very good original condition. Chrome bumpers front and rear are original, look incredible, and are the kind of clean, straight pieces you just can’t get in a reproduction. Hubcaps are original, and show age and signs of use. They are mounted on original steel rims with black paint that has chipped in spots. All the wheels show good for driving and enjoying the car, but if you want to make it more of a full SHOW car, you’ll want to clean them up and paint the rims again. Tires are recent BFGOODRICH Radial T/A’s, and are sized P205/70R14. They have at least 70% of the useable tread remaining, and do not need replaced at this time. Glass on the car is in very good condition, with just light marks, if anything, to be found. There is no sign of laminate issues, and there are no cracks or splits in the glass. Rubber seals and weather stripping looks great, and the only sign of brittle rubber on the car is the vent window trim, which is original and has not been replaced in 51 years! It is still serviceable, but not up to scale with the rest of the clean, more recent rubber. The convertible top was replaced not too long ago, and it still shows wonderfully today! Keep in mind, this car has NOT been detailed, so some of the little water spots and things on the top should simply clean up when you prepare the car for its first show. There are no known rips, tears, or seam pulls, and the plastic rear window is fog free, and undamaged. The power top works just like it should, and goes up or down in a matter of seconds with the touch of the dash mounted switch. Latches seal it up tight, and I have had the pleasure of driving the car in a typical Florida torrential downpour, and it was leak and issue free for me. The tonneau was new with the top, and it fastens and sits just as it should, with all snaps intact and functional. It is clean, neat, and ready to show. Overall, the outside of this car is in 8.5 out of 10 condition, and when you take the time to detail it from stem to stern, it will show even nicer. Pop open the hood, and you are met with the cars original 260 V8 CHALLENGER motor that it was born with. The engine has been rigorously maintained over the years, with constant oil changes, preventative maintenance, and many OEM replacement parts installed to make sure it was reliable and ready to go. Recent upgrades on the car include the fuel pump, fuel lines, rotor, distributor, plugs, plug wires, carb cleaning, new fuel sending unit, water pump, battery, and a fully re-cored and pressure tested radiator. It starts easily, idles cleanly, and is ready to go at a moment’s notice. Snick the cars original 3-speed transmission into gear, ease out the clutch, and the 260 gives you power on demand at any throttle position! You can easily spin the tires if you want to, or let the power build through each shift until you are exceeding the speed limit! Power is smooth and steady, and ready to help you pass, merge onto the interstate, or just pick on that kid in the Honda Civic at the red light. There is no stuttering, no backfires, no fuel loading or starvation issues, and it is about as perfectly tuned as you could ask for. Engine note is healthy and mellow, thanks to the custom installed Cherry Bomb style mufflers put on with the fresh exhaust system. The prior owner kept fuel logs, and noted that on the highway the car averages about 18mpg, while in town, it sits at about 15mpg. Pop the trunk, and you get an original and ultra-clean floor pan with no signs of rot, rust, or prior repair. It has some marks from being used as, well – A TRUNK, but still looks great! The full-size spare is correct to the car, but not a modern radial. There is a jack and lug wrench included, as well as the original trunk pan liner in the same plaid finish as the spare tire cover. The liner has seen better days and is included for originalities sake, but you will probably want to just order a new one. Trunk seal is recent, like 90% of the other rubber bits, and shows wonderfully. Underneath the car, the chassis is clean and original, and shows very well. Pans are original and have no sign of rust, rot, or damage. The entire brake system was replaced just a few years ago, and it was then switched over to a full silicone fluid system for safety. USE ONLY SILICONE FLUID IN THE CAR! Braking is spot on, and the car scrubs off speed without any odd pulling, wander, excess fade, or unusual modulation. Ride quality is great, with just enough give to make all-day cruising seem like a Sunday in your favorite chair, and a steadiness from the newer shocks and modern radials that lets you have fun carving through those rural twist’s too. All of the suspension components, seals, bushings, bearings, kingpins, and rods have been checked and appear to be as recent as the prior owners notes said they were. Tracking is straight and true, and the car has the perfect amount of steering wheel feedback, and no slop or sawing when you drive it. One hand on the wheel is all it takes when flying down the interstate, and the car will easily manage highway speeds without complaint. Overall, the mechanicals of this car are in exceptional condition, and after spending about 150 miles behind the wheel, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Speaking of driving it, most of your time is going to be spent in the interior, and it is VERY nice! Door panels are original, clean, and show normal signs of use and wear. Door pulls and window rollers are original, and show light patina and age but work perfectly. Dice toppers were added to the tops of the door locks to compliment the red and white color scheme. They look great, and work perfectly, and the doors lock with the included key. Kick panels and rear panels are original, and show typical signs of normal use. Rear ashtrays, emblems, badging, switches, and climate controls are all original, appear in average or above condition, and do what they should without issue. Rear view mirror and convertible top chrome trim panels are original, show patina and signs of age, but work perfectly. Carpet is in above average condition, looks amazing, and is damage free. Seats are in very good condition as well, with no rips or tears, and the split front bench folds like it should to allow passengers easy access to the rear seat. Original steering column is topped by the original wheel which shows light patina and age, but could easily be refinished if you wanted. The chrome horn button has light patina and is non-functional, and the shift arm and signal arms show light patina but work perfectly. Dash is original, and has no cracks or damage. Front dash panel silver section looks great, and the gauge housing holds fully functional gauges for FUEL, TEMP, SPEEDO, and ODMOMETER. Odometer shows 89,381 miles, and the prior owner said he believed it to be correct, but the State of Florida, as they usually do, automatically exempted the mileage on the title when they moved here and registered the cars. Headlights work, hi beam switch works, turn signals work, hazards work, and the wipers work. The climate system works as it should. The radio is inoperative, and is not hooked up. I do not know if it works or not, and the prior owner never had it work either. The 12V cigar lighter works, and the car has a functional ashtray and fully lined glove box too. The interior presents wonderfully, and the patina on the original items I mentioned really isn’t bad, especially if you are going to drive and enjoy the car. According to the HAGERTY VALUE TREND VEHICLE INDEX, the car is valued as follows, and has had a slow and steady value growth over the the past 5 year period. Condition #1 = $41,300.00 These vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best car, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the car has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 cars is "concours." Condition #2 = $28,700.00 These cars could win a local or regional show. They can be former #1 cars that have been driven or have aged. Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and interior will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine compartment. The vehicle will drive as a new car of its era would. The one word description for #2 cars is "excellent." Condition #3 = $20,300.00 Cars in this classification could possess some, but not all of the issues of a #4 car, but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new, correct interior. #3 cars drive and run well, but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses, and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 car. Condition #4 = $13,500.00 These cars are daily drivers, with major flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 car. I have priced the car accordingly, and feel strongly that these affordable American Classic’s will continue the steady rise in value and investment return in the next 5 year cycle. In the area? Come see it. If not, fly down here for a personal showing! I am willing to bet that the first person who comes here to see it in person will buy it. The title is in the dealerships name, and this is NOT a consignment car. IT IS TITLED AS A 1973 FORD MILEAGE is showing 11,854 on the functional odometer, but it is being sold as mileage exempt at this time. It has an estimated 800-1000 miles since the restoration was completed in June of 2015. I think that about does it so far as information I can supply to you. As stated, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE a private viewing of the vehicle, or you can have an appraiser/inspector come see on your behalf PRIOR TO BIDDING. ********************************************** If you have any other questions, or want me to photograph something, or check something, please call me at (941)286-0889 for the fastest response. The Ford Falcon is the car that fathered the Mustang, and now that it has matured into vintage status, you can really see the grown-up appeal on this convertible. This is especially true when the economy car roots are erased on the top of the line Furura trim. There's plenty of brightwork, including beautiful chrome bumpers, intricate grille, wire wheels, rocket-inspired taillights, and the Futura side trim that seems to keep this convertible pointing forward. All of this shows exceptionally well on a recent application of Ford's shade of Raven Black. Besides looking amazing, the great part about black is that the imperfections can't hide from it. So yes, this body is just as straight as it appears in the pictures. Bright red upholstery looks spectacular with the shiny black body. This is complete right down to the red convertible boot cover. The overall effect is a classic contrast that gives this Falcon an upscale look that always attracts attention. Open the door, and you'll see that nothing looks out of place in this mostly brand-new interior. Everything from the bucket seats to the heat/defrost controls looks factory fresh from 1963. The intricate door panels recall just a touch of the 1950s with their shiny materials and lots of polished trim. The familiar instrument panel is in excellent condition. There are even some nice luxury touches such as the AM/FM radio and the power folding feature for the new vinyl top. The engine is the same 260 cubic-inch V8 that found a home in the early Mustangs. Combine this motor's smooth and torquey nature with the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, and this Falcon can easily get you going in a hurry. This powerplant is presented nicely in the engine bay with well-maintained belts, hoses, and wiring. Plus, the chrome valve coves and air cleaner provide a dash of show-worthy shine. This is all finished off with a chrome-tipped dual exhaust that gives this V8 cruiser the burble it deserves. You're looking at a high-quality Falcon ragtop in the perfect color combination, and the whole package is provided an irresistible price. Exceptionally shiny on the outside, amazingly plush on the inside, and a thumping Boss 302 V8 under the hood all make this restomod the most unique coupe you'll see at even triple the price. The deep sparkle in this maroon paint is unmistakable even from far away. When you take this to the car show, the sunlight will turn this candy red color into a beacon for everyone to come and take a look. There's plenty of great 60s-style chrome on the grille and bumpers, but brightwork that everyone will really be taking a look at are the wide 15x8-inch Cragar wheels. The front fenders even had to be professionally widened to fit them, which adds to this coupe's aggressive appearance. In fact, performance is really in the details of this one. Just look at the Futura accent line that's now painted gold. It not only looks like an arrow pointing this Falcon forward, but it also matches the custom writing on the fenders and trunklid. The "Thunder Rolls" text on the rear is a nice little hint to what you'll see when you open the door. That's because the entire interior of a 1984 Thunderbird has been transplanted into this vintage Falcon. This includes everything from Ford's plush coupe; even the crushed red velvet velour seats that now have custom gold Falcon embroidery. Because the interior is borrowed from a luxury cruiser, you get plenty of features, such as air conditioning, power seats, AM/FM/cassette stereo, and the Thunderbird's cool digital speedometer. But just so you don't forget that this is a true performance car, there's a chrome B&M sports shifter for the driver to hold at all times. One peek under the hood, and you'll realize this restomod is also a prostreet machine. You're looking at a Boss 302 borrowed straight from 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. It was rebuilt 12,500 miles ago with added performance goodies such as a B&A Street Boss intake, roller lifters, roller rockers and roller camshaft, MSD ignition, and TRW Racing pistons. The total output is now pegged around 400 hp. But the improvements did not end there. This is backed up by a custom reinforced frame and a coilover suspension with tubular A-arms up front. Power is nothing without control, and so this Falcon has four-wheel disc brakes, grippy Goodyear Eagle GT tires, and even the battery was moved to the trunk for better weight distribution. But as intimidating as this Falcon is (and trust us, the exhaust note will scare off lesser cars,) it does fine on the streets. This is a power steering car with a stout C6 three-speed automatic transmission. So it has the right features to be a Saturday night intimidator and a Sunday morning cruiser. This is a custom built Falcon with so many performance upgrades than we don't even have the space to list them all here. But give us a call and we'll tell you everything, or stop by and we'll show you the full restoration photo book. Back in the early 80's, well before this car was even restored, the state of Florida did assign it a rebuilt title status. Even so, it's an amazing coupe you can pick up for lees than the price of building it yourself. 1965 Ford Falcon for Sale 1965 Ford Falcon for Sale Stock # 0011-TPA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1. Selling my 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible, Asking $2500 for the car and $3000 in new and some used parts. My feedback score and some of the other vehicles I have sold in the past, shows my honesty in describing what I sell. Purchased this car from a friend in need. I went and bought alot of new parts and trim for it. It comes with a new convertible top and weather seals, new carpet, new door panels, seats were just recently recovered, new well liner, chrome interior and exterior parts, etc. The body is in good shape for 53 years old. Solid floor boards, rockers and quarters. Engine does run, though won't stay idling. Clutch is good and the brakes. New gas tank already installed. Will need minor body prep for scratches and dings, and some minor bubbling of rust on areas. Comes with another passanger door and front cowl. A nice car to restore, I need the money to put towards another restoration. I have been honest in describing this vehicle, being sold AS-IS, Where-Is. This was registered in Alabama, I have the Alabama Antique Plate for the car. Alabama does not title cars prior to 1970. This car will be sold with a bill of sale and the Antique Plate that goes to the car. I will be taking Best Offers, though it will only be for a couple hundred. Lots of time and effort on my part, has gotten this vehicle to this stage. Charles

For the person who has his/her own resources and ability, this Falcon can be restored reasonably. Or throw a slab of sheet metal on the floor and drive as is. There are no signs of ever being damaged or wrecked. Rust in the usual places (rear quarters, lower doors, floor), but the trunk deck is in good condition. As seems the frame. The hood, trunk lid, and most metal north of the lower rust is solid. The Falcon is straight. For those interested in upgrading to a V8, the heavier suspension components and 5 lug hubs are available in the trunk. Also comes with a clutch/brake pedal assy if you are interested to converting to a stick. Present six cyl components are in good condition. Someone put a vinyl roof (yea, I know - I know) on this, that should come off. Fortunately it will peel off fairly easy. I have peeled off sections of vinyl that reveal a solid roof still in the original lacquer blue paint. There are pin holes close to the windshield area where the vinyl peeled back from wear. Floors will need patched-replaced.. The trunk deck is solid. (new gas tank and plate). Now for the better news: I actually believe the mileage (62k) is accurate. Just would not run this good (or run at all) for 162k, and runs appropriate for 62k. My opinion. Mechanical and electrical good shape. Blinkers, wipers and lights (including brake lights) are working. New gas tank. Fuel gauge does work. As does the generator light and temp gauge. The glass is good all around. Recent new windshield. All windows wind up and down effortlessly. Bumpers in very nice condition. No boo-boos and only surface rust in the tag area. When jumped, the engine will fire right up but needs a touch of manual choke to run without stalling. Engine seems to be fine - just needs to be dialed in (carb rebuilt needs tuned).. Small exhaust leak somewhere up front. Battery shot - alternator working. Fuel pump working fine - now with fresh non-ethanol gas (keeps running better with time). The Fordomatic performs good as it should. The transmission, radiator, rear axle and engine have been recently serviced. Clean fresh fluids/filters and Da-Dah! (drum roll) no leaks anywhere. Suspension feels tight and steering responsive. Brakes stop with little effort. The condition of drums/shoes unknown, but no metal on metal screetch. Steers accurately and easy. Almost like power steering. Tires are 50-75%. No spare, has jack.. Just bear in mind, this is a mild project and being sold "as is". Inspection is certainly available and recommended. The Falcon is located in Jacksonville. Serious inquiries can call me at 904 860-2742 or via eBay email. Price is very firm. Clean Florida title. You know the drill: No warranty expressed or implied. As is. (Legal thing you know). Buyer responsible for shipping/pickup. I will certainly make myself avail if needed. I can deliver for $1.10 per mile (Northeast add $225 for tolls). $250 Deposit PayPal required immediately with remainder due within 7 days.. Will not be released until payment is verified cleared. I feel I have represented this vehicle accurately. I did provide more than the "sold as is" with nothing else to go on - as you see so often. Thanks for considering. I really do not expect this to last long.
