1964 Ford Falcon Club Wagon Van--Runs like a champ. A work horse of hipsternosity! Totally straight frame Purchased in 1999--Work done included rebuilt engine, installed oversized radiator and switchable fan (switch on engine cowling), transmission linkage, heavy-duty commercial shocks installed, new paint etc. Standard maintenance and repair/replacement of parts as needed between 2000 and 2015. I sold it around 2010...with the condition that I could buy it back...and I did last year. After I got it back, I did some minor mechanical work and major body restoration, removing all the rust spots and taking the body down to bare metal. 2015 work--New brakes and master cylinder, new tires (less than 200 miles), New battery, New alarm system, New muffler, all new rubber/seals on doors and windows. All rust cut out and new metal welded in. New paint. All original Falcon chrome trim in place and in good condition. Non-original leather seats installed and 3 point seat belts added. Plastic "raised coin" flooring installed in rear; chloroplast panels installed in rear cargo area. MANY EXTRAS include--shop manuals, maintenance records from date of purchase and more, Polaroid photos of the day I bought it (!). The van is ready to go and needs nothing. BUT ... if you want to build a hot rod or do a custom interior (like my friend whose band performs from inside the van at their gigs)...this a great platform to start. All the hard work is done.
