Super Duty F-350 SRW, , L, Crew Cab Pickup, The Super Duty trucks, introduced in 1999, are built on a separate platform from the smaller F-150. Bigger, stronger and more robust, they are meant to perform feats of which the F-150 isn't capable. In an effort to stay competitive in a "more is better" marketplace, Ford increased payload and towing capacities for 2006. Thanks to a fully boxed front frame clip and revised engine choices, the F-350 can haul an extra 1,000 pounds. Tow ratings also jumped, with the F-350 diesel model now capable of dragging an incredible 19,200 pounds. The engine is the 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel rated at 325 hp and 570 lb-ft, which happens to be the most popular engine choice in the Super Duty lineup with a stump-pulling 570 lb-ft of torque on tap. All trucks equipped with an automatic transmission come with a tow-haul mode. The front suspension on four-wheel-drive models uses coil springs, and the result is a significantly reduced turning radius (versus previous leaf-spring setups), which should come in handy when trying to navigate into tight parking spots.Antilock four-wheel disc brakes are standard.Inside, the roomy cabs have large, comfortable seats and generous seat-track travel. Five or six adults can ride inside with little problem. In addition, there are many interior convenience features designed for today's business owners. For example, the center console bin is big enough to house a laptop computer., Four Wheel Drive,Tow Hooks,Tires - Front All-Season,Tires - Rear All-Season,Conventional Spare Tire,Power Steering,ABS,4-Wheel Disc Brakes,Intermittent Wipers,AM/FM Stereo,Power Outlet,Passenger Vanity Mirror,Front Reading Lamps,Driver Air Bag,Passenger Air Bag

The 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty would be the latter, a heavy-duty pickup available with a dual rear axle that can tow upwards of 21,600 pounds. To put that into perspective, things that weigh that much include five hippos, two killer whales and a 38-foot fishing trawler. Or just a really huge camper. But no matter what you plan on pulling or hauling, the F-350 is a serious machine for serious jobs. The F-350 gets a whole host of updates and upgrades. Minor tweaks were made to the exterior and there are welcome revisions to the climate controls, bringing them in line with the rest of Ford's new lineup (the double-DIN stereo faceplate remains). More importantly, though, Ford's twin I-beam suspension was enhanced to enable greater towing and payload capability, while also improving the ride. Standard is a 6.2-liter V8 good for 385 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, which represents a major improvement over the old truck's 5.4-liter. The base XL available in all configurations comes standard with 17-inch steel wheels, a tow package, telescoping trailer mirrors, air-conditioning, 40/20/40 front bench seat, vinyl upholstery, vinyl flooring, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a two-speaker radio. The 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty comes standard with four-wheel antilock disc brakes, a passenger airbag deactivation switch, stability control, trailer sway control, hill start assist, front side airbags, front side curtain airbags and the SOS post-crash alert system. New for 2011, the F-350 adds a lockable bin under an available front center bench seat, which also folds to serve as an armrest. Another lockable bin is located under the rear seats and can easily accommodate longer items (like a hunting rifle) and also features a 12-volt power point. Another nifty addition is the available 4.2-inch LCD multifunction display placed in the instrument panel. This display allows the driver to customize settings and relays trip computer, fuel economy, towing and off-road information. Compared to the competition, the Ford Super Duty line is noticeably quieter, with wind and road noise pleasantly silenced. And remember, Nobody beats Carl Burgers prices...and I mean NOBODY! 2008 Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab Crew Cab,Mega Cab,Pickup Truck,Quad Cab, ABS (4-Wheel),Power Steering,AM/FM Stereo,Dual Air Bags,Towing Pkg,Steel Wheels, The Ford F-350 Super Duty one-ton pickup has been redesigned for 2008. Under the skin, a number of major upgrades take place. Ford says the chassis is stronger than before and now has a new type of coating for improved corrosion resistance. The rear suspension has also been tweaked to improve ride and handling without compromising capability. The PowerStroke diesel engine grows from 6.0 to 6.4 liters and now makes an impressive 350 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Also new this year are higher-grade cabin materials, a standard MP3 audio jack, available power telescoping/folding side mirrors and a unique, drop-down tailgate step that makes getting into the bed easier. Do your towing and hauling requirements run toward the super-size category? We're talking about pulling things like six-horse trailers, 35-foot boats and travel trailers that resemble rolling luxury condos. If so, then a 1-ton pickup truck is the obvious tool for the job. Ford's F-350 Super Duty is the company's entry in this draft horse segment, and a number of major improvements for the 2008 model year push this capable beast of burden to the front of the pack. More than just the aggressive, in-your-face looks, the freshened front end styling brings a functional advantage. The higher hood, bigger grille and redesigned front bumper all allow more cool air to reach the radiator. Available behind that grille is a larger PowerStroke diesel engine. It's now at 6.4 liters, versus 6.0 liters last year, and features twin turbochargers (a small one for quick response off the line and a larger one that kicks in to beef up the midrange) and common-rail fuel injection with high-tech injectors. Because these injectors administer fuel in up to five metered spurts per combustion cycle rather than all at once, reliability is improved, emissions are reduced and the engine even runs quieter. Another benefit is quick startup this diesel can fire up in under 2 seconds at minus-20 degrees. The XL is meant for those who just need a bare-bones work truck; it comes standard with plain vinyl upholstery, a basic AM/FM radio, 17-inch wheels and not much else. Properly equipped, the 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty can tow up to 15,000 pounds and handle a 23,500-pound Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) when fitted with the optional 4.10 rear axle. A rugged, industrial theme marks the revised cabin, and materials quality is improved over the previous truck. Chrome accents surround the gauges and air vents, while the new center stack puts controls in easier reach. Dual door pockets and a massive center console/armrest address previous gripes about inadequate storage. In fact, the center console box is now big enough to accommodate a laptop and/or hanging files. In crew cabs, folding the rear seats up reveals a flip-out utility tray that keeps the load floor flat. And remember, Nobody beats Car
