A really phenomenal 1976 Ford F250 Stepside longbed 4x4 with only 56,500 original miles. Used to belong to the Marinwood community service fire deptartment, a community just north of San Francisco in the city of San Rafael, servicing Marinwood, and Lucas Valley. Lucas valley is home to "Star Wars" George Lucas's "Sky Walker Ranch". They have taken very good care of this hard to find gem! Runs Excellent, service vehicles are meticulously maintained 5.9 liter 360 cubic in. V8 56,500 original miles 4 wheel drive, Dana 60 rear, 4 speed manual transmission Goodyear Rangler Duratrac tires, and new 16 in.wheels This truck was meticulously maintained by the fire department, it runs Excellent !!! Starts up very easy in the morning with no effort like a new truck. In the morning the idle stays in warm up mode for a minute or so, then just pump the peddle once and it lowers down, just like it was new! The truck runs great, just like a 56,000 mile vehicle should, very tight and solid. The 4 speed transmission shifts effortlessly, the clutch feels great, may be newer? the 4 wheel drive works fine, hubs turn with a smooth click I believe it has a NP205 transfer case, but not sure, brakes feel great, stops well. California Truck, built in San Jose. The body is very straight as you can see, clean title, Paint I believe is original, looks good still very shinny, but has many scratches here and there. I have had some paint work done on roof and drivers side roof drain channel, had decals removed and truck has been buffed, hood area needs some paint and if I was going to keep, I would take time to shim a few panels, replaced door strikers and interior floor mat, New radiator, complete engine tune up, with wires, cap and plugs, New Water pump and all belts and hoses, Very solid body, virtually rust free, minor rust on drivers side floor pan area.Wood in bed looks original. Truck has new Goodyear Rangler Duratec tires, Lt/235/85R16, with brand new 16 inch chrome wheels, they look great and drive great! Interior looks great, very clean! seat is in excellent shape, no rips or tears. all doors open and close fine, all locks work, windows roll up and down, All original emergency lights removed as well as utility rack but can send to with buyer if desired, looks better with them off but the lights are awesome, Gauges all work and original Philco radio too! All in all this is a great collector truck that can be used and driven whenever you want, I get compliments every time I drive. The truck runs, looks, and drives great.
