This listing is for a 1979 Ford Ranger F-150, single cab, long bed, 2WD,315/400M engine. Brand new tires (Bought in July), on chrome wheels. The interior is in very good shape, roof liner has all moldings, seats are intact except for small tears in the vinyl on the tops nearest the rear window. The exterior is solid, original paint, has chipping here and there but there is no major rust, minor surface rust. The bed of this truck has surface rust, but no holes or pits. Has one minor dent on the passenger side on the bed. The exhaust is dual side exit, sounds nice, has with headers. Has cargo and engine compartment lights. I did not build the motor but it definitely has an after market cam in it. The AC turns on but the blower motor is weak. The truck is optioned with cruise control but it does not work, all parts are there if someone wants to fix it. It has a brand new battery and a brand new starter motor. It runs and drives, no engine noise but it does have an exhaust leak. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. Truck sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I bought this truck to restore it i bought new key switch a new carburetor a new radiator new spark plug wires truck does not run because it does need a new fuel pump you can put a little gas in the carburetor and it will start and die .This truck also has fairly new duel exhaust system on it.Selling as is. Air conditioner is missing componets under the hood.Needs a battery the tires need to be replaced.Das pad has several bad places .This truck would make a good work truck are a restoration project.i have several more trucks between 1973 and 1979 i need to sell also .

1977 Ford F-150 Ranger has Automatic, 400 V8 engine, A/C, Power steering, Power brakes, Disc brakes in front. Original color was the popular Ford emerald green that came on these trucks. Not sure the name of color.California truck previously (now in South Florida) virtually rust free from front to back. Very clean project to start with! Odometer reads less than 94,000 miles on this truck, it is very possible these are original miles, but I cant guarantee it. Look at condition of 38 year old truck and you decide.All glass is good, body is straight, very minor bumps and bruises.Fires up and runs, but will need carb tuning and a muffler installed properly.A/C & Heater work as they should. New tires installed through Sears less than 100 miles ago, brand new.New brake system from front to back.New rebuilt carburetor (with receipt from insert carb company) less than 100 miles on it, still needs some fine tuning probably by a more experienced carburetor specialist.Tons of new parts installed, plus I’ve included all the extra parts that go with it that include an extra tire for the spare, door panels, extra weather-stripping, plus more. Purchased this truck last year, from 3rd owner who had it for a short time, prior to that the original owner bought it in 1977 and owned it till he died. MAINTENANCE: previous owner did himself, see list below. Pretty much went through it front to back and cleaned up everything that needed it. Went through the entire smog system and pretty much replaced everything with brand new parts.
