The Ford F-150 has been the best selling vehicle in America for 25+ years and is a known workhorse. This vehicle was traded it at a new-car dealership in Western Michigan and I purchased the vehicle from them. The previous owner purchased this vehicle in 2004 with only 30,000 miles. I have put over 80 miles on this vehicle myself. The V6 engine runs strong with respectable fuel economy. The manual transmission shifts smooth with no issues at all, goes into all gears with no issue, and clutch feels strong. This F150 features the XLT package, which gives it those creature comfort options that make it much nicer to drive than the base model trucks like Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors, Keyless Entry, Cloth bucket seats, carpeted floors, overhead console information center, and so much more. Mechanically, this Ford is in very good condition. Engine & Transmission are 100%. The engine seems smooth and has plenty of power. Very particular buyers will note the transmission handle seems to vibrate a little at idle like around a 1mm rapid movement...it's been a while since I've driven another manual trans F-150 and it seems more or less normal to me, but I figured I'd mention it anyways. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Ford has been sitting. The brakes stop the truck smooth and straight. While driving the steering components appear to be in good shape, tight and straight. The suspension seems to be in proper working condition and this truck rides down the road like it should. The tires are all matching size of 255-70-16, although the brands are mismatched and all tires seem to have decent tread remaining (see pics) mounted on factory alloy wheels that are in good shape. The spare tire/wheel are missing. The vehicle drives straight down the road. Particular buyers may notice a very slight vibration above 60 MPH. Overall, this vehicle drives quite nicely for its age and mileage. All the power options work like they should. The climate control works on this Ford blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc). The AC is blowing cold and the heat is hot. The Ford is equipped with AM/FM/CD - the radio powers up great and sounds like it should. When I bought the truck it had an exhaust leak where the pipes became disconnected (I had new pipe section welded in) and the check engine light was on for emissions codes. I cleared the codes and they haven't came back - my guess is it was likely caused by the exhaust leak, but I'm not 100% sure so it may come back again. There are no other warning lights illuminated. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. The dash display is working properly, as is the overhead console computer information display. The only little quirks I've found with this F-150 are that the parking brake doesn't seem to work and the switch for the headlights is missing the knob (I have a replacement ordered). Overall, a good running pickup truck! Cosmetically -- this car is in nice shape! The exterior is in very good condition with good paint and normal wear. The only abnormal wear items I noticed on the exterior are a dent above the windshield near the edge on the passenger side, a light scratch on the right fender that's been touched up, and some quarter sized pieces of flaking paint on the hood that's been touched up. The glass is all in good condition except there is a scratch on the windshield where it looks like someone ran the wipers with no blade on the driver's side once (a single line scratch where the arm of the wiper meets the windshield). There's some rust, but relatively little rust for F-150s of this vintage in this area. The most significant spots are under the driver's rear door and some bubbling along the rear wheel wells. This Ford looks nice! The interior is in really pretty good condition with very good condition carpet and seats. There is a small rip on the driver's side bolster that's been glued so it doesn't grow bigger (looks like a tool in someone's pocket snagged the seat) The dash and door panels are in good condition. The interior is really pretty nice for a pickup truck with this age and miles - I highly doubt this one was used as a work truck! Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. This is a F-150 that you will be proud to own and drive! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one. Some of the descriptive terms are subjective, please understand this but I do my best to describe them honestly. You are welcome and encouraged to come check out this vehicle for yourself and take it for a test drive before the auction ends. I have included over 50 pictures - please check out them out. Feel free to email/call me (Michael) at 734-717-3653 with specific questions and I will do my best to answer them. How am I able to sell for less? We are focused on offering exceptional prices often thousands less than blue book suggested retail values. We have far lower overhead than a traditional dealership. Our facility is located in a more rural area, we cut out the sales person and adminstrative staff, and pass the savings along to you. We depend on the internet for our sales and our online reputation is extremely important. I have sold vehicles to many different states with many buyers driving or flying 1000s of miles to buy a vehicle from me sight un-seen. My goal is to make this process as easy as possible for our customers through honest descriptions and flexible customer service. Auction Details & Payment Information: The vehicle is for sale locally as well so auction can end at any time. Bid with confidence as I have represented the vehicle well. There will be a $100 documentation fee added on to each vehicle sold. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction ending via paypal. The remaining balance will need to be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction by Cash or Cashier's Check. If you need financing, please have that arranged BEFORE the auction ends. Please only bid if you are 100% serious about buying this vehicle. This means you have a plan for shipping or picking up the vehicle and have the financial ability to pay for it. Due to high amounts of non-paying bidders recently, you must have a PayPal account associated with your eBay Account to bid on my auctions. Please make sure you have this, especially if you plan on waiting until the last hours to place a bid because it can take a while to set this up. Please do not take away someone else's opportunity to buy this vehicle by placing a bid without the full intention on purchasing it. Thank you! If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to call me at 734-717-3653. We are a licensed used vehicle dealer and must collect sales tax/title/plate fees so please contact me prior to the auction ending if you want to know what fees you will have to pay on top of the purchase price. Michigan residents will pay 6% sales tax, $15 title fee, and whatever your plate ends up being. For out of state buyers, each state is a different tax/title scenario. If this is a concern, please contact me before the auction ends and I will tell you exactly how much (if any) tax will be for your state. For out of state buyers, any taxes that are paid to me you will receive a credit in your home state (you will not be double-taxed). All out of state buyers will be required to purchase a 15-day temporary tag/registration for $10.00 without regard to how you are getting the car to your home state (shipping it or driving it) and you will need to send me a copy of proof of insurance for any vehicle you own. This is the State of Michigan's rule, not mine...but from browsing eBay $10 is probably the cheapest temp-tag of any state and you will be able to drive your car immediately and legally. Any New eBay bidders or those with zero feedback, please send us a message or give me call to confirm your contact information or your bid will be canceled. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. We will work with your shipper to help them in any way we can. We are located in Manchester, MI - a small town in SE Michigan about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor or about an hour from the Detroit or Toledo areas. We are on a main state highway, under 10 miles from the interstate. We can pick up from Detroit Metro Airport or Ann Arbor Amtrak station for free.
