There\'s no question that this is perhaps the nicest 1990 Ford F150 in existence. I mean, who does a full frame-off restoration on a late-model pickup like this? Regardless, the results are simply spectacular and it includes a great-running 5.0 liter V8, gorgeous two-tone interior, and the reddest paint job we\'ve ever seen. This was clearly a labor of love, because the truck was disassembled practically to the molecular level and rebuilt from there. The cab and bed were pulled from the frame, the engine was sent out to be rebuilt, and everything inside and out was detailed. This was the F-series that set all those sales records and cemented its place in history, so obviously the squared-off shape appeals to a lot of people. It\'s also a long bed model, so it\'s practical if you\'re brave enough to actually use the bed to haul stuff (fortunately, it\'s protected with a color-matched spray-in bedliner). Super straight sheetmetal has nothing to hide and the brilliant red paint shows off the fact that every square inch was smoothed and sanded before the final finish was applied. More buffing and sanding happened after the two-stage urethane was dry, and the results are just spectacular. Shaved emblems and a smooth tailgate with a roll pan give it a sleek look that belies its age and a few well-chosen chrome bits make it sparkle. Everything inside the truck is brand new and while it\'s pretty close to stock, it\'s obvious they were influenced by the latest and greatest King Ranch versions of the F-Series. Two-tone leather covers the original bench and matching door panels were created to match. Fresh carpets, a suede headliner, and even what appears to be a new dash pad make it truly stand out. Factory gauges are surrounded by a custom Momo steering wheel, whose red accents are echoed by custom paintwork on the instrument cluster itself. Features include ice cold A/C, power windows and locks, a tilt column, and a new Pioneer AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo system that fills the cabin with sound. The factory gauges are comprehensive, including a tachometer, and the 85,452 miles shown are authentic. The original 5.0 liter V8 was pulled and rebuilt while the body was getting a makeover, and as a relative of the Mustang\'s famous powerplant, it\'s no slouch. It\'s pretty stock and built for torque production, but a few well-chosen upgrades help it perform better in almost every way. There\'s a K%26amp;N intake, MSD ignition system, and plenty of chrome dress-up parts to make the engine bay shine. The stock intake manifold was painted to match the bodywork and the list of new equipment is extensive. It\'s backed by a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and the stock rear end, so it\'s a great highway cruiser and with all that torque, you don\'t need tall gears to get it rolling. The chassis was cleaned and detailed as long as it was accessible with the cab and bed removed, and a custom dual exhaust system was cleverly installed where a single exhaust used to live. Giant Boss Motorsports wheels are a great choice on a full-sized hauler like this and carry 245/45/20 front and 275/40/20 rear performance radials. This is an extremely impressive truck in every way. It\'s still just a 1990 F-150, so we can\'t charge you anywhere near what was spent to build it, so consider yourself lucky to enjoy the fruits of someone else\'s very talented labor. Call today!
