This very clean 1978 Ford F100 Custom is part of the sixth generation of the Ford F-series line of trucks that was produced from 1973-1979. Only 81,854k miles from new, and overall this is a nicely preserved example. This F100 has had 2 owners with the original owner working for Ford Motor Company at the time of the production. The original owner actually walked down the production line as this very truck was being assembled. This F100 Custom is in terrific mechanical order, as it runs and shifts very smoothly. This F100 Custom is covered in what seems to be original dark brown metallic paint, with a nice matching dark brown/ black interior. Inside the cab is the factory original AM-FM – Stereo – Tape head unit. The dash is very clean without any cracks, and has a black rubber floor, which makes it very easy to keep clean. The bench seat is comfortable and in excellent condition. Everything is in great working order, and all gauges work except for the temp gauge. The engine is a 302CI Windsor V8, that makes good power and was factory rated at 130hp. The power comes on very smooth and is mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission.
