Most recently it won best paint at Kool Deadwood Nights car show and Badgerlands Run to the Dells Show. There were over 1,000 vehicles in the Deadwood show. The '53 was the cover truck for the LMC parts catalog and has appeared in a Ford Custom magazine. The paint is the real eye catcher. It fades from GM Automatic Orange to Cherry pearl to black pearl to black. It's truly captivating and one of a kind. The underside of hood, inner fenders, valve covers and firewall are all show finished in atomic orange and detailed. The power plant is from a 2002 Ford Lightning, Eaton supercharged 8psi of boost and fuel injected with the 4R100 electronic transmission which turns the 8.8 Ford trac-loc 3.73 ratio.
