I have a 1978 Ford 4x4 F150 custom for sale. It has a 400ci 6.6l gas engine with automatic transmission. This truck does run and drive good. Although the power steering is having some issues with it. I have put a brand new power steering pump on there, but doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. The body has scratches and dings on it in several place. The windshield has NO cracks in it. It has a grille guard on the front and a heavy duty bumper on the back with big clevis's for tow hooks. It has heavy duty bed rails on it. Has smoke stacks for the exhaust coming from the bed. It has a 6 in lift on it. Tires are in descent shape, but probably needs new ones for a good grip. The spare is brand new though. The dash is cracked as you can probably imagine. The radio is missing prior to my ownership, but does have a CB, unsure if it works or not though. Has the bully steps on the doors and some side handles on the cab. I havent seen a whole lot of rust other than the bed does have some places that looks thin. This would be a fun toy to play around in if someone was into mudding. I had originally bought it to fix up a little and use it to hunt, but I have come to find out I'm to busy to mess with it. This is an as is sell! wifes fully restored 1978-79 F150 caught fire... so now its for sale. some of the things that have been done to it prior to the fire.... rebuilt 351 enging with some clean up and new parts will still run. M/T wheels and truxus mud terrain tires still have really good tread and no dammage. front and rear axles are still good along with the transfer case, 4 wheel disk brakes. will need a cab and hood, the rest of the sheet metal is still in good shape. will attach pics of before and after. Serious inquires only please. and make an offer for the entire truck. I will not be giving it away and do not want to just sell the wheels and tires.I have alot invested into it and my personal value will be high for what it is. It can be rebuilt and i would love to be able to see it one day being driven, this is to pretty of a truck to scrap, I just dont have the time to get her back into shape. I know at this and think that the price is too high, but i have 24000 invested, it was worth 18000 when it went up, 5000 will get her back on the road looking the way she did, 5000 plus 5000 is only 10k and will be back at a 18k value.
Well used. Scratches scrapes and dents as expected through years of regular use. Driver side rear door is modified/cut to allow the door to open fully against the bed of the truck. Tool box and camper shell included. Will update pics soon.
