Dan0399 Store The good:Up for sale is my 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. This vehicle has 221,000+ miles on it and has been my dependable daily driver for the last 50K miles. I have done minor mechanical maintenance during that time to include a new battery, front and rear breaks, and a serpentine belt. The engine is strong and does not smoke or have any knocks. It does use about a quart of oil about every one thousand miles. It does not have any oil leaks. The tires are not matched but I would say they are each about 50% tread or so. The air conditioner blows cold and the heater works. The vehicle has an after market tow package and a trailer electric break controller. The original third row seat is included with the vehicle. Mechanically, there is nothing that would lead me to believe that the vehicle would not have several thousand miles left in it. The bad:The paint is a little faded from age. It has a few quarter size spots on it where the paint is starting to wear. There is a fender ding on the back passenger side quarter panel right over the tail pipe. There is also a molding trim piece missing over the rear passenger side tire and a piece of molding missing on the front passenger side door. The leather for the most part is in good to fair condition. There is a hole in the leather on the drivers seat as is very, very common with these vehicles. The worn spot can be replaced for a couple of hundred dollars if you choose. Alternately, a nice seat cover will do the trick as well. The digital display on the mileage works intermittently but the mileage is accurate. Some of the interior plastic moldings, especially in the cargo area, have some cosmetic wear from items being hauled. There is some staining to the carpets (mostly in the back seat) but they have not been professionally cleaned so they may be substantially better after doing so. There is no spare tire included with the vehicle.
