This truck was leased by BNSF to do railroad worker transportation and service. It has the mileage, but the vehicle is just unusually clean. We regularly see sub 100k mile Excursions that are far more used up that this one. We brought this one up from New Mexico, it has not seen road salt. We installed the rims and tires and roof rack, brought it through the shop, put in a new alternator, steering gear and fixed a few other little things. It doesn't leak to speak of, motor runs great, shifts nice, drives well, and the interior and paint/body is just super clean. Carfax shows a ton of service documentation and preventative maintenance and it hasn't been in any accidents as best we can tell. It came in with the winch and we have the controller, all functional. Whether you need an affordable rig for your chalet, or just need a big people mover and don't have a fortune to spend this is a sound vehicle with a long ways to go yet. exterior The paint and body on this rig are in excellent shape for a 150k mile truck. It has nice gloss, no rust, hail, or body damage at all. There's no dents and no bad scratches. That being said, it's still a used vehicle. We touched up a handful or rock chips on the front bumper upper trim, the hood has some pitting from a lot of freeway driving, there's a little road wear on the lower rockers, etc. The glass is good, free of cracks. The roof rack is an older setup but it looks really nice. The winch works well, tires have good deep tread, wheels are new and everything seems to line up well. There is a little dust wear on the drivers window. We've had pretty good luck using rubbing compound and super fine steel wool to pull the scratches out of these before and will do so before delivery. interior The interior is awesome. We pulled the seating out and cleaned everything very well. There's no bad stains in the upholstery, drivers seat bolster isn't all worn out, flooring and headliner look pretty good. It's not without wear; there's a little seam busted in the drivers seat back, some holes in the dash from mounting equipment, few marks here and there, etc. This is still a used commercial truck and not new, but again, we see stuff with a fraction this mileage that looks way more beat up. mechanical We received this truck in very good order. It's been through our shop, changed the oil, filter, battery, alternator, and replaced the power steering gear box. It does not leak at all, oil pan is bone dry, fluids all good and full, trans fluid is about 1/2 life it should be good for another 30k miles. The brake pad life is good and the thing drives excellent. The front end is pretty tight, ball joints have probably been done several times, 4x4 works, all and all just a good solid rig.
