I drove this truck all over the country last year from Texas to California, Arizona, New Mexico, back to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kansas **Engine replaced, Oklahoma, and back to Texas again. Engine replaced at 201,000 (November 2016) ** replacement engine came with 12 month warranty and 141,000 miles. Head Gasket was only issue and it was more cost effective to replace engine then do just head gasket on one side. The replacement engine was complete engine out of a wrecked Excursion so lower milage injectors, coils, throttle body, etc... everything was installed as complete unit. For preventive reasons, I replaced the easy no-brainer life limited parts like gaskets, plugs, etc.Royal Purple fluids throughout engine and rear endsPreston Extended Life Coolant and -40 deicer washer fluid Currently needs wiper blades, and a relay for the KC lights.4 wheel drive works great!To the best of my knowledge, this vehicle has never been mudding or on salted roads; Certainly not by me or the last previous owner!
