You are looking at a 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 with the 7.3L Turbo Diesel motor. It is in excellent condition, super clean, one owner vehicle. No rust, always garaged, Howes diesel lubricator used with every tank since new, Oil changed every 3000 to 4000 miles, Anti-freeze additive every 20,000 miles. It has NEVER pulled a trailer, but it does have all the towing package stuff...there is a factory wiring kit that will have to be hooked up for towing. It has an Automatic transmission, 3.73 rear end, lock out front hubs, leather seats (heated in front), back-up sensors, and in dash 6 cd player. This truck is a cream puff...it comes with a written record of every service, every part and every tank of diesel (with the price and gallons) that it has gotten since the original purchase in 2001. The transmission was serviced at 50,6500 miles and then again at 125,568. The Tires were all replaced at 132,521 miles. It has received two new batteries in Sept 2013 at 157,910 miles. It has NEVER been wrecked or painted....I did touch up the trailer hitch. It has never had a dent removed---does have 2 small door dings, one in each side. The ball joints / steering stabilizer, driver side caliper and brake hose along with new front brake pads were all done 165,000 miles. This Excursion drives like a new one. Very clean low mile excursion. I have owned this excursion for about 3 years and have only put 11,000 miles on it. We have only used it for family trips and vacations. We have recently purchased another large SUV as a daily driver and decided to sell this one. Since I have owned it I have put new shocks, and sway bar end links on it. I also had a caliper hanging up do to it not being driven often, I replaced that and the rotor, had all other brakes checked at that time. I always use royal purple synthetic motor oil, changed the fuel filter once a year right before winter. I put the tires and wheels on it when I bought it so they only have 11k miles on them. When I first bought it I had the front and rear diff, and transfer case oil changed just to be safe. I also had the coolant flushed and filled. I put a new updated Coolant reservoir cap on to make sure that would never fail. I also put the over sized mud flaps on it when I did the tires. The front tires rub slightly when turning sharp. I run fuel additive year round to help lube the injectors. I had the alternator rebuilt about a year ago, along with 2 new batteries. The vehicle is driven but very rarely so please anticipate a few additional miles on the vehicle. Items included that are not pictured are the factory radio, roof rails, and factory floor mats. The engine is all stock to my knowledge. When I purchased it, it had aftermarket exhaust and a K&N air filter on it. After doing lots of research on the 6.0 Diesel I decided to add the SCT Live Wire display up front. Since we only used it for long trips I wanted piece of mind knowing that all the temps and pressures were perfect. I have more pictures that I can email to you if needed. Serious Buyers only.
