2000 Ford Excursion Limited I am the second owner of this truck. I purchased it with 105,000 miles on it 12 years ago. I've taken fantastic care of it as you can clearly see and it has been a great vehicle for my family. It was my wife's daily driver until last year when we bought her another vehicle so that I could use it as a daily driver. I recently purchased a truck to drive as I missed the bed, so we are selling it. The third row seat is included. It's in great shape, I was not able to get a photo of it as there is a limit on photos. I can send photos of that if you need them, but it matches the rest of the interior. The engine:The engine runs fantastically. It never fails to start immediately, it's powerful, does not smoke or use any oil, and it sounds fantastic. I religiously change the oil in this truck every 5k miles using Rotella 15W-40 and motorcraft filters. It never uses or loses oil, I haven't had to add oil to it a single time. The previous owner installed a 4" magnaflow exhaust system which sounds amazingly great, not loud but it gives the exhaust a smooth, deep sound. The engine has never been apart, never had a reason to do it. I replaced the water pump when I found it leaking, that's the most invasive thing that's ever been done to it. I installed a Superchips programmer last year after I sold my previous truck. It adds a little bit of power and some fuel economy. The programmer comes with the excursion, I can show you how to use it. I will add that I've never used the excursion for any type of racing or heavy towing and I've only used the programmer on the mildest setting. Fuel economy:Fuel economy will range from 15-20 mpg depending on your driving style. These figures are actual numbers that come from hand calculating mileage, not from the trip computer which puts it slightly higher. I usually get 18-20 highway depending on conditions and speed, around 16 if I'm doing a lot of stop and go.Transmission:Shifts great. Operates perfectly. I had it rebuilt professionally by my transmission guy at 220k miles. It has operated flawlessly ever since and I've had the fluid changed twice since. My guy pulls the pan, changes the fluid, and inspects everything, which is the only right way to do it. The fluid/filter was last changed at 290k, it was in excellent condition upon inspection. The body/paint:I hit a deer on the right front at a low speed a couple of years ago. This is the only collision my excursion has ever been in. The damage was minimal. You can see the damage behind the right headlight, I never had it fixed because it is fairly unnoticeable. I did have to replace the headlight at that time. There are a couple of small dings in the front bumper. There are a handful of small paint chips, which I would expect. Otherwise, the entire body of this truck is incredibly straight and clean.Interior:There isn't a single rip, crack, or tear in the leather seats. They are in amazing shape. The carpet is clean. The dash is great. The console is great. Everything works with the exception of the very back windows(the vent type windows beside the third row seating), I never did use them and they no longer work, could be the windows themselves are stuck. I really don't know. Air Conditioning:The air conditioning works perfectly. Very cold. I've never had to recharge it as it has no leaks whatsoever. It does have separate rear A/C which works perfectly. The heater also works well.Tires:All 4 are Michelin LTX M/S 10 ply tires. I have no gauge, but the rears have around 20k miles left on them, the fronts have around 10k left. They have never had a flat or repair but there isn't a lot of tread left. The spare has only been on the ground once and is like new. Towing:It is equipped with the towing package, which includes a receiver hitch system and light connection. All of this works exactly as it should. I've never done any heavy towing with it and not a large amount at that. I've generally pulled around my lawnmower on a 12' trailer, not much more. It works fantastically for pulling, as one would expect.Drives:Great. Very powerful. Holds the road well. Very comfortable. Very smooth. I recently replaced all 4 shocks with Monroe Reflex shocks. The batteries are new as of June or July of this year. It needs nothing, I wouldn't hesitate to circle the county with it right now. If you have any questions, please drop me an email or give me a call or text any time at 979-249-6267. A text is preferable as I'm at work quite a bit and can't always answer the phone. My name is Bradley.
