The van spent its life previous to us doing commercial service in the oil and gas industry. It's one of the few sources that uses the V10 motor which is nice to have in a 4WD. This is an in house Denver Fleet build on a setup with proven drivability and reliability. We utilize a coil spring front suspension that rides on factory springs and a custom 4 link trailing arm setup giving the vehicle a solid ride that's easy to get about in and nice to ride in. This particular setup has a 2006 F-350 Dana 60 front axle with 3.73 gearing, and 2008 F-350 manual transfer case. It has a ton of new parts and has been gone through, creating a very nice running/driving rig. The interior is all fitted with custom paneling, high output LED lighting and laminate wood flooring that should be nice to build out as well as stand up to the abuse camper or work vans go through. The vehicle has brand new wheels and tires, recent services and it needs nothing. exterior The paint and body on this van are in good shape overall. It hasn't been exposed to any significant amount of road salt, so there's no rust on or underneath that's notable. The body is straight overall and has just enough wear that it'll be nice to drive and show off, but if you get a few bumps out on the trail it won't break your heart. The wheels and tires are new and look awesome. The van has a 4" overall lift and is still not too bad to get in/out of. It has new roof rails up top ready for your basket. There's no obvious damage. It has a few little dings in the right rear corner, upper passenger side, and a small crack in the side lower barn door corner that these always get. It's seen a few dirt roads in its previous life so there's light road wear on the lower rockers. The glass is good, doors all open and close fine and have gaskets. It does have the tow package and receiver hitch. interior The interior is pretty unique. It was a work van so there's still some scratches in the jambs and rear doors, but they can be re-paneled to match the interior when you want to spend a little more money on it. The cargo space is all lined with new Naugahyde and 3/4" padding. It has 6 total LED lights and shines like daylight at night, this one turned out really darn bright. The upper lights have 1 main switch and individual switches on each, and the rear two are touch sensitive. The cabin is in good shape overall. There's a little wear on the drivers door jamb paint. We got it with a miss-matched seat shown in the photos, but we swapped that out for a matching seat that's in good condition. Everything works, there's no warning lights on the dash. It's a manual 4x4 shift operation with manual hubs for reliability. mechanical This van fires well and idles smooth. It doesn't leak, doesn't smoke and it's all factory with regards to the motor. The exhaust crosspipe is new and was done custom at our exhaust shop. It maintains the factory cats and should pass emissions anywhere. The transmission is original and it shifts well. The front end is good and it has brand new upper and lower ball joints and was aligned. The transfer case was checked over and filled, and drive shafts are custom with all new greasable u-joints. It has new bilstein shocks up front and monroes in the rear. The van rides well, the shocks are a little stiff, we've switched to monroes after this build, but the Billsteins certainly have the name. I've included a rough list below of the build, email for details if need them. The van sits 4" higher than stock plus the tires. We utilize the factory van springs and have a setup that keeps the spring perpendicular to the axle to minimize bump steer. We've found the 4 links make these ride a lot better than the vans done with truck trailing arms and truck springs. It's a big lifted van with stiff suspension but it's easy to get about in and will do very well in the dirt. Included in the sale will be a parts list of serviceable items and details. It has been very well maintained, hasn't seen road salt, it's well equipped, and it looks very much original. This particular setup lent itself very well for a 4x4 conversion which we've done in house. The cutaway maintains a van front end with pass through to the rear cargo space of this very rigid heavy duty aluminum box that's been paneled with 3/4 ply all through the space and aluminum floor. It has the heavy duty 5 speed transmission, non dualls for a slimmer profile/traction and the V10 with 4.10s and posi which is a just right for the 33" tires. The van also has 9600gvw listed weight so it's under 10k and won't be required to stop at weigh stations, and is also under weight for many HOAs. This is a very well planned and thoughtout setup that drives almost like a regular van with custom 4 link suspension and factory van coil springs, but with the business to get you out in the brush and out of sticky situations. Whether you are doing materials transport in remote areas or want a base for your camper build this is really just a very cool setup! exterior The paint and body on this van are super clean. Apart from some very light road wear on the cab and box and maybe 1-2 tiny nicks the thing is just super straight. It's never seen road salt, so no body rust or underneath either. The aluminum box is all very straight and free of damage. It has a heavy duty rear step bumper with built in hitch and a slide in grate-step for when you're camped out. The box sits pretty high but the steps make it easy to get in/out. The barn doors are a must, as the roll up type take up way too much room inside. The wheels are in good shape; came off of a 2013 superduty. They have the TPMS sensors from the van and there's no low tire lights on the dash. Tires are brand new 10 ply all terrains. The truck stands 10 feet tall at the very back, no it will not fit in a suburban garage, however it seems very manageable around the corners and has factory sway bar links that keep it from tipping too much. interior The interior is very clean. It hasn't been smoked in. The upholstery still looks nice, dash, doors, headliner, etc, all very clean. All the accessories inside work. We received no keyless clicker, but it may have keyless entry. They are available inexpensively on Ebay w/ programming instructions. The cargo space is pretty simple. It's all setup to be easily built out from with all the heavy paneling. There's a little space for storage above the front door. It has sliding vent windows in the sides and a ceiling vent that could easily have a fan installed. The floor is aluminum. It also has 110v power in on the passenger box side with a couple outlets. mechanical This van runs out great and drives nicely. It has been fleet maintained since day one and came in needing very little prior to the conversion. The motor is quiet, it doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, and the steering is super tight and dead on straight. It shifts well, has good manners on road and will do just fine off road. There's been a host of parts replaced in the process and it won't need anything for a long time. Our setup is very comperable to the popular brand on the market. It utilizes a 4 link coil sprung front end off a 2009 F-350 with roughly 60k miles. This unit has new completely new front brakes, calipers, pads, rotors, and brake lines. It stops very well and has bigger brakes than the van came with originally. It maintains the factory 5r110 transmission and utilizes a NP271 F350 transfer case w/ manual shift and manual hubs for reliability. It has new custom built drive shafts and a 4" overall lift from factory. This particular setup maintains the factory high capacity rear fuel tank you see on cab/chassis. We purchased it in June, brought it to Denver, stripped the interior bare, built it out to new for passenger, cargo, and camping outfit, and converted the truck to 4 wheel drive. It's a detailed and well planned build, we have buying and selling brand name 4x4 vans for years and have designed a comparable setup that combines the drivability of coil sprung front ends and utilization of most all factory Ford van and truck components for reliability and ease of service. This van is an excellent example of a daily driver friendly capable off road machine that will last for many years to come. It's all new inside and has a ton of new parts per the build. Please read below for further details. Thanks! exterior The paint and body on this van are in nice shape and was waxed a few weeks ago. It has good gloss, no rust, hail, or body damage. It has not been exposed to road salt. We believe the paint is original. It has a little normal wear and tear, there's some pitting in behind the front wheels at the very lower corners which have also been trimmed just a hair to accommodate the oversize tires. It had a handful of thin scratches at the top of the rear side panels that were touched up, we think the van may have been wrapped previously. The wheels and lug nuts are new, tires are also new take-offs from a 2015 Silverado. They are load range E and ride quietly on the freeway. They're an all season tire and will do fine in the dirt, but they are certainly not mud terrain. We've installed new side steps, trailer hitch, and a step for the rear of the vehicle. The glass is free of cracks, bumpers look pretty good, and the van is a full XLT so you get the chrome bits up front. interior The interior is basically all new. We stripped everything bare, built all new Naugahyde padded paneling for the cargo space, fitted 2 banks of high output LED lighting with switches for the cargo and passenger compartment, and we installed new 8lb floor padding, 17/32nds wood flooring, and rubber tile paneling. The van is very quiet inside for a cargo van, nice to drive on the highway and doesn't rattle around. The seats in the rear can be removed if you don't want them, they are high dollar 2012 model shuttle van buckets and they're comfy; lap belts only. The fitment of everything is good, not sportsmobile quality, but it's nicer than a lot of shuttles we've seen built. Our guy has done dozens of vans, plenty of practice, looks good. I believe the photos of the interior in the dark were shot before we installed the seats. The cabin up front is all very clean and well detailed. Yes, it basically smells like new car inside. It has new padding under the rubber and we reupholstered the drivers seat base because it was slightly worn, looks new now and fabric matches great. The van is well equipped and everything works. There's a bright LED indicator light for the manual shift transfer case which has manual hubs. mechanical This van fires well and idles smooth. It doesn't leak, doesn't smoke and it's all factory with regards to the motor. The exhaust crosspipe is new and was done custom at our exhaust shop. The transmission is original and it shifts well. The front end is good, ball joints aren't worn out. The inner tie rod had some play so we replaced that, very light play in the steering gear, but everything up front is actually quite tight. It has new Rancho shocks front and rear, we replaced the front ones shortly after some of the photos. It has new tire pressure sensors in the tires and there are no warning lights on the dash illuminated, everything jives and was done correctly. I've included a rough list below of the build, email for details if need them. The van sits 4" higher than stock plus the tires, I don't suspect it will fit neatly in a California apartment garage. It drives very straight and has been aligned. It's easy to get about in and rides very similar to the big company vans, actually better than many I've driven that lived hard lives. Of course it has very minor bump steer but even factory Ford superduties have that. The 4 link suspension has better clearance and articulation than the guys out there building these with the truck trailing arms. Included in the sale will be a parts list of serviceable items and details.
