Purchased from a family that babied this van every say they owned it. Reluctantly had to sell because they were moving. I enjoy it, but honestly looking for an older van. Can't have two, so time for somebody else to have it. Really in pretty decent shape for being a MN van. Appears as though it was repainted factory color early in its life. (Guessing from poor primer of that era) Does have small amounts of rust throughout the exterior. The drivers door bottom is definitely the worst. Strong running straight 6 fuel injected engine and a 3 speed automatic. Radiator and hoses replaced with new within last 3 years. New water pump and cat back exhaust within last month. Tires are older but have plenty of tread. Interior is surprisingly clean. Front drivers area a little dingy from every day use, but would scrub up pretty easily. Carpeted and upholstered from front to back, top to bottom. Because of the age, I'm assuming is 159,xxx miles, but looking at the interior it could pass for 59,xxx miles. This is the base model and has very limited options. AM radio, no AC, no tilt, crank windows, less things to go wrong! 2 ignition keys and one door key included. Dome light switch works on all doors and all doors open/close nicely. This is a nice example of an old vintage van. Please inspect pics closely and ask lots of questions. The only reason I am selling it is because I am expecting another child and the one seat in the back only holds two kids. Its set up for trailers and between the front seats on the floor is a metal plate that a box clamps onto which I have if you want it. The vans coil packs were replaced along with brand new tires from firestone. This 1965 Ford Travel Wagon, completely original from the factory, is one of only 400 manufactured.It has 110K original miles and the van hasn't been altered in any way.The 240 ci 6 cylinder engine, has been completely rebuilt and has less than 500 miles on it. It also has an excellent working automatic transmission, a new carburetor, water pump, heater core and wheel bearings. All glass is in excellent condition, no cracks, leaks or discoloration. Chrome is in mint condition and interior includes original stove and sink, but not hooked up.All gauges and dash instruments work, including the AM radio. Vehicle has a jump seat that sits on top of the engine compartment. Up for auction is a 1998 Ford E-350 Extended Wheelbase 4x4 Van. The 4x4 conversion was done by Advanced 4wd Systems out of Salt Lake City, Utah. It was originally used to haul kayakers up into the mountains of Colorado before I bought it, thus it has been in Colorado for most of it's life. I have driven it all over the country and it's been an extremely reliable vehicle. However, I had to move to a diesel as I just purchased a large trailer and this one must go. Clear title. The Good: Loaded with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Front/Rear AC (only the front is connected), Power Windows, and Power Locks Extremely heavy duty Uhaul hitch installed Newer radiator 4WD done by Advanced 4wd Systems with 7" lift Decent tires Good brakes 2 rear seats included (not shown in pictures) High end Alpine CD Player w/ Bluetooth Starts right up and runs extremely smooth transmission shifts properly Manual hubs engage properly, transfer case works properly Newer front driveshaft The Bad: Cruise control does not work Rear AC/heat does not work Thermostat housing is cracked, thus van leaks coolant Crackling sound coming from underneath van (possible exhaust leak) Some surface rust from being in Minnesota for the past few years All in all, this has been a fantastic van for me. However, due to the coolant leak, I recommend trailering it.
