Parts or Repair, needs trans work, reverse and low are OK, needs the high band replaced. Air doesn't work. Has a slightly used set of Michelin HydroEdge Tires, $700, with a hydroEdge Spare, no rim. from Costco. the motor is good, has new headlights and front parking lights. Passed Va. This Crown Victoria LX is in nice shape, its very clean and has been well maintained throughout its life. Everything works and works well on this car. It eats up highway miles, potholed city streets and winding back roads equally well. It is quiet comfortable and easy to drive. To me this car feels like they finally got the big-American-car "right," it just does everything really well. Too bad they stopped making them. ! Disclaimer: I will do my best to describe the condition of the car and to answer any questions, HOWEVER, there are flaws that are not visible in the pictures and there are probably some flaws that I don't know about. This item is sold AS IS and without warranty. Buyers are encouraged to view the car in-person and anyone who would like to inspect the car before buying is welcome to contact me for an appointment. Condition: Exterior: Generally good condition and shiny. There are minor scratches, nicks from branches fingernails (near handles) etc... and one major scratch on rear bumper (pictured). A dent on the lower half of the passenger door (pictured) Interior: Very clean and lightly worn has no offensive odors (smoke, pets etc..). Drivers seat has a small tear or crack in the binding where the hinge passes through (pictured). The front handle / face of the cup holder and ash tray assembly is broken. It still holds cups and opens and closes but is somewhat irritating. I don't smoke or eat in the car so I just leave it closed. Others may want this fixed ASAP. The floormats show signs of wear especially under the drivers heel. Mechanics: Runs excellently. Transmission shifts smoothly firmly and at the correct times. Engine is quiet, smooth and gets the rated MPG. The car was inspected a few weeks ago. My mechanic said that nothing was needed but he did recommend replacing the serpentine belt and servicing the brakes before its next inspection. Tires: The tires have a lot of tread left, hold air and handle well BUT they are old and showing some signs of age rather than wear. One tire was replaced after a bad puncture and is a differnt brand from the other three.
