This 1956 Tbird is an original, California car that had been a member of the Beverley Hills Car Club (2013) and is currently registered in Ontario (Canada). The car starts and runs excellent. You will note from the pics that the engine is clean but not completely restored. Fresh paint with original color (fiesta red). The body is in great shape. Comes with hard top (incomplete but freshly sprayed last week) and soft top (after market). There is a difficult to notice tear (2 inches max) that has been repaired with dakron (sail) tape in the soft top. According to autocheck, it shows "major issue", here is the explanation. I purchased this truck in January of 2014. Prior to me it was owned by the CEO of a construction company. Due to his company going bankrupt, their was vandalism to the truck and something was added to the fuel tank, resulting in complete engine failure and replacement. Bad news for him, good news for us. I have all of the documents from the shop including work orders etc. The complete engine was replaced at approx. 38,000 miles.Please see attached picture of the invoice I just had a complete brake job completed, including, pads, rotors and calipers.total invoice was $2500 USD. Shortly thereafter the bank seized the truck and sat until 2013 when the dealership purchased it via auction. The auction was 05/15/13, not the claim date. Up for bid is a 1970 Ford F100 custom pick up with a full frame off resto approx 3 years ago. This truck runs a fully rebuilt 302 V8 (Original motor) with a ready to run distributor, new Holley 2 barrel carb, Hooker headers, optimum battery, K&N air filter and custom paint. A fully detailed engine bay. The C6 automatic transmission has also been fully rebuilt, and shifts using a Lokar 32" custom automatic floor shifter. It has a full stainless dual exhaust system that exits before the rear wheels. Wheels and tires are custom smoothly style wheels with bullet caps and Diamond Back white wall tires for that 60s style custom. Rear suspension has been dropped with DJM components to give it that sinister laid back look. Interior has all new seals, new carpet with original black seat and black dash pad, (seat has small tear). Instrument panel is out of a F500/600 with custom gauges which give the interior a cockpit style feel. Top it off with an original Ford radio delete panel. The exterior is done in Wimbeldon white with very subtle hand laid red pin stripe. Custom bumpers with fog lights, custom grill, all new handles, script and peep mirrors.Box of truck has the rare tool box on the side.Bed of truck has been bed lined with custom Color match bed liner.
