This is my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale The car was purchased in April from the 2nd owner - who has had the car since 1969. The car is a 352ci, automatic with 70k miles and has been rebuilt within the past 10 years. It starts every time with no problem whatsoever, idles nicely with no tabs, knocks or squeals and has a nice ride to it. The cruise-o-matic 3speed runs through the gears ok, but first gear will slip on occasion. I don't know if it is a rebuild issue or if fluids and care could fix it. The car is really decent for an all original car. It has 10ft paint (seemingly original - I cant believe a word the last owner tells me) with almost no rust. The chrome is really nice and it is missing nothing. Interior could use a new bench seat and a cleaning, but is otherwise nice. All gauges work - save the clock - and wipers/washer works as well. I am having to sell the car because my condition has worsened and I cannot do the work necessary to make it perfect. The car is being sold "as-is" as it is a 40 year old car. That said, I think the buyer will be happy as long as you can do some work to it. I would recommend transport for any real distance and will be available to help with setting that up. I require a $250 deposit within 48 hours and balance within 10 days. I am sending the title in from my purchase - as I have been opting to work on it - so it will be to the new owner ASAP.
