Clyde Barrow wrote Henry complimenting him on \"What a dandy car you make\" very fast and dependable, when it\'s time to go! The deluxe roadster sports the dog ornament, rumble seat, twin chrome horns, twin tail lights, rear mount spare and metal cover. This car was restored a while back and very well done. The most noticeable styling update was the new and more broad grille that spanned the entirety of the front body section. The deluxe model-line\'s features included bumpers used on the 1941 Ford super deluxe models and grille frames that were painted body colors. Wheel colors were painted body colors. Deluxe instrument panels had a textured Mahogany grain finish.The \'42 Ford deluxe Fordor featured here is an excellent original. Consistent maintenance over the years and temperate season exposure have allowed this car to remain in great driving condition. The black paint and chrome brightwork appear in good condition and show a very presentable patina.
