Well, here's the low down on this super solid looking & running 1996 Ford F-250 We are listing this truck on it's own, but are tossing in a FREE lumber rack I bought it about 3 years ago from a local firefighter, used it around the farm & don't think I put more than 2,000 miles on it He wasn't able to document it, but had just put a 65k mile 1997 5.8L V8 gas motor in it, and when you fire it & listen to it purr, & feel the torque, there is no reason to doubt it's a low miles motor but I CANNOT prove the mileage, but in replacing parts on it I can attest it's a 97 motor. UPDATE 5/14/15: I drove the truck to the dump today & when I got home the front brake caliper seems to have frozen up. I plan to replace both front calipers/rotos/pads early next week, but if a buyer makes offer/purchase before I get the chance to make the simple repair, I'll knock $150 off the top of the price. Automatic 4x4 White Second fuel tank Standard cab/2 door Rubber matted floor & tin ceiling (factory work truck) Aftermarket tow package CD Player A/C Truck interior shows heavy wear, minor fade on dash, minor holes under drivers feet from wear, light scuffs/scratches in doors (mostly lower) Seat as far as we remember has no giant tears in it, but truck comes with seat cover as well as an aftermarket center console Truck exterior is still VERY glossy. Very minor scratches here or there, nothing drastic as the images show. However, the bed has been used as a truck & is scratched/dented as well as the tailgate, both operate just fine! This is a west coast born & raised truck, so very minimal oxidation on the chasis, not all rusted out like them midwestern & east coast rigs! Tires are about 80-90% tread left in our opinion Truck cranks & fires warm & cold instantly Truck shifts smoothly through all gears 4x4 works (manual hubs, floor shifter) Truck currently needs no work as far as we can tell, but we've never serviced tranny/tranfer case so buyer may want to consider doing this soon after purchase The trucks drives straight as an arrow at 75mph down the highway & stops on a dime.
