RELISTING DO TO NON PAYING txmike98. Here is a fine example of a1928 Ford Murry body town and country, this is a True barn find. I have all the pictures and paper work to prove it. Also this car is a 1 family owned car. I have the original title to go with the car from 1928. The car has only 25000 original miles. There may be a few more since we drive it. The original owners family sold it to there nephew back in the early 70s. He drove it for a little bit. Also at that time he started to do some restoration work on the car. Then he got married, and parked it back in the barn again as he started a family. And there it sat. Sadly he came down Parkinson's and had to sell the car. The last time it was on the road was back in 1975 to the New Hope car show. I even have the show ticket for the car. Then the car was parked right after that. What I have done to the car is change the 6v battery,change fluids gave it a good tune up and a good bath and cleaning. the car runs great. We have taken the car out for drives and the car rides and drives very nice. You can leave it as is and drive it as is. Or you can drive and restore it at the same time. All I did was make road worthy and sake to drive. All the lights work and brake light works. Also the horn works. I had to change a few bulbs and put the driving lights back on. Tires are in very good condition and hold good air. The guys in the local model a club here could not believe how good the car runs and drives and condition it is in. The body is all original Ford steel and in good condition and has no rust holes. But it has some minor sirfuss rust . One fender has small crack,but I am told that was common on theses cars. A few small drips of oil but it looks like after tightening everything back up no more drips. It comes with some extra parts he gave me and what looks like a interior kit ( fabric and card board) You must contact me within 1 hr. of auctions end and pay $500.00 dept. non refundable within 1hr. A really cool old truck, operated with antique plates. truck was built and spent most of it's life in California. It has surface rust, but is very solid, I could not find any rust through spots of filler. It has small dings and scrapes, new tires, new brake cyls, runs and drives great. It could use a new muffler, steering rag joint and has a small p/s leak and small leak at freeze plug. Blows smoke when started after sitting a few days. Comes with all the service manuals, origional AM radio, origional owners mantance records and a truck cover. Ready for the local parade or turn into a full restoration. I prefer you come see it, inspect it, drive it then buy it; I drove it home over 2 hrs when I bought it about 2 years ago. Happy to answer any questions.
