FOR SALE: 1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan Tudor hot rod project or drive as is. I'm only calling this a project because it lacks a shiny paint job. The body on this car is very nice and would only take minimal work to have it ready for new paint. Or it could be left as is and driven. The car is painted in hot rod black. It does have some scratches and a few chips. This is an excellent running and driving rod, I have driven this car to several out of state car shows, I just got back from the NSRA Street Rod National (250 mi. round trip) and as always it performed flawlessly. Chassis: Original frame, 4" dropped axle, Posies spring, power steering, split wishbones, front disc brakes, 9" Ford w/parallel leaf springs, rear drums, new non power brake master cyl, new exhaust, poly tank w/electric fuel pump, Power steering does have a small leak. Engine: Mild 350 Chevy with an Edelbrock intake and Holley carb, Walker radiator, Always runs cool. Trans: TH350 w/Genie shifter. Body: All Steel, No rust. Nosed hood, molded rear fenders, new steel running boards, front and rear bumpers tucked closer to the body and lowered. Could use a new tailpan. Interior: All new in 2015, original front and rear seats, Allante vinyl covered, all new interior panels, new suede headliner, new SW gauges, all new wiring, 48 Ford Deluxe column/steering wheel. New steel bead rolled steel floor from firewall to rear seat. Missing the windshield garnish molding, passenger door window is cracked, & has a small rock chip in the windshield. This is not a perfect car, it is a hot rod. I built this car to look like it was built by a serviceman after the war. It is not a street rod (no air/pwr windows, etc), but could easily be taken that direction if desired. Please call me at (270)316-seven two one seven or send an email at [email protected] with any and all questions . I do my best to accurately describe the car in the description so that there are no surprises but inevitably something gets left out. I can email or text more pics if needed. Thanks for looking.

$2500 or Best Offer I've had this baby for a long time and it's time pass it on to someone who will finish it. Make me a reasonable offer and it yours. I won't rule out trades, but I would only be interested in a V8 convertible (preferably manual transmission) or 70's vintage Japanese motorcycles (motocross, street/trail, two stroke street bikes......you get the idea). I would NOT be interested in your typical V-twin cruiser motorcycle. 1973 Ford Ranchero 351 Cleveland 2V Heads, FMX Automatic, 91K actual miles, power steering, power brakes, NOT air conditioned. Motor and transmission are original to the truck. Clear Kentucky title in my name. THE GOOD: 351 Cleveland professionally rebuilt by Muscle Motors in Boonville Ind. Bored .030 over, forged Keith Black pistons (8.5:1 compression), rotating assembly balanced, Crower RV cam, headers, Holley Street Dominator intake. The 2V heads were professionally reworked with new springs and the hardened valve seats were installed so that it can run unleaded fuel. The plan, when building this motor, was to set up the lower end up for 75-100hp shot of nitrous. I just never got to that point. Rebuild has 25,000 miles on it and burns no oil. I have more invested ($5000) in the motor than I am asking for the entire truck. Bucket seats (need recovering real bad) and console from 1977 Mercury Cougar XR-7 complete with floor shift. Headliner has been dyed black and the original carpet has been replaced with black. Original column shift steering column has been replaced with a floor shift version. Dash features full instrumentation complete with factory tachometer. Brake and clutch pedal assembly from a Gran Torino have been installed. Plan was to install a 5-speed manual....just didn't get there. Truck has 91,000 original miles, of which, I have personally put 80,000 of them myself. Paint, while showing it's age, is original and the truck has never been wrecked. As you see in the pictures, the lower quarters are just now beginning to rust. Doors will need to be replaced as the window seals have been rotted for a long time and water has rusted the bottom of the doors. Floor pans are solid. Rancheros of this vintage were built on the Torino station wagon chassis, so it has a FULL FRAME and is not a uni-body design. It will haul as much as a F-150 depending on the tires in use. I personally liked the idea of not having to install subframe connectors. THE BAD: FMX automatic has lost second gear. We can blame that on a combination of the modified motor and a old man who couldn't keep his foot out of it. As is, it drives just fine (shifts smoothly from low to drive), but I never had any intentions of fixing it as I had plans to install a 5-speed manual. Water has accumulated in the doors and rusted them to the point that, in my opinion, they will need to be replaced. Good replacements (from the west coast) can be found on junkyarddog.com. Current carb is a Ford 4100 4v that currently has the secondaries disconnected. I put this on after I lost the benefit of second gear in the FMX (no sense in wasting fuel). I have a couple of Motocraft 4300 carbs (one complete and the other for parts) that go with it as well.
