1928 Ford Model A wide bed pickup hot rod/street rod. Hot rodded in 1969 with a complete drivetrain from a brand new 1968 Mustang. 302 V8, C4 transmission and 8" rear end. 1932 'heavy' axle. Was in garage in Los Angeles since 1975. New fuel pump, electronic ignition, plugs, wires, carburetor, water pump, etc. Lots of nice period correct touches. New wheels and tires.
This is a 1931 Ford Model A full-fendered roadster. It is powered by a built 305, a TH350 transmission with a shift kit and a Ford 8" rear end. It has chrome shocks in front and coilovers in the rear. It has a Chassis Engineering front axle and TCI brake kits; disc on the front and drum on the back. It is an rust-free all steel Brookville body with fiberglass front fenders. The frame is Chassis Engineering. The paint is a beautiful deep Chrysler blue/purple with pin striping. The convertible top is in good shape and is easily removed or folded down. The upholstery is beautiful and the color-matched piping follows through the entire car; even in the jump seat. The car is equipped with a heater and a sound system. Overall the car is in good shape with a few small blemishes from being driven. This is a great driver that starts, runs and draws looks wherever you go.
