Here we have a nice 1965 ford econoline special, with the 6 170 cu in , 3 speed on the tree. Its mostly original with some mods. The truck was one of 2000-2500 spring specials made for the 65 year. Ford promo these trucks to get sales. They added bright poppy red paint, thick side moldings, white wall tires , chrome bumpers,GT stripes, full wheel covers and some other added options at no cost. These were cool little trucks. This one was restored some time ago but still shows well. The body is very very solid as thses things rotted fast in the north east. This truck runs and drives like it did in 65. Good tires,brakes,clutch and exhaust. Everything works. The worst rust on the entire vehicle is what you see in the first pic,lower left front. The side moldings were added after the originals were removed. Need a nice shop truck? Invest in one that will always be worth something.
