1979 mercury bob cat 2 door 2.3 4 cly 4 speed trans has a/c but belt is not on the comp has power steering from a dry dry western state that only gets on the avg 15 inchs of precp a year car runs well shifts good int needs work see pics. front tires are teal .rears are ok showing some age. paint is org both rear qtr panels need outer patch panels the under body is in very good cond no rust out no patching etc has the following new parts cap rotor plug wires took off the org cap and rotor and wired they were dated 1979 . oil change, carb kit installed ..... tach works speedo works. glass is good will need the following repairs the front inner fender palstic is getting dryed out and brittle. needs a new blower motor power and ground to it but will not spin YOU CAN GET PARTS FOR THIS CAR CHEAP ON ROCK AUTO WHOLESALE CLOSE OUT PARTS BUT MAKE A BIG ORDER AND MAKE SURE IT ALL COMES OUT OF THE SAME WAREHOUSE SO SHIPPING IS UNDER CONTROL . needs a right hand side door window reg. wont go up and down . needs what i think is inner tie rod ends. has a bit of play i jacked it up and seems to be the inners. has no power brakes. the brakes need to be looked at i think theres a frozen wheel cly or some thing pedel is hard and little stopping power.. has no radio its gone . loc near scottsbluff nebraska zip code 69361 i know its a ways out here but your not buying a rust bucket !!

If you want a rust bucket. Done buy this car. !!!! 1975. Ford elite. 2 door. Dry dry western Car. 351w. Auto. No a/c. Car. Again never had a/c. Has. Manual windows. Am radio but doesn't work. Has fact ta ch which works. Car at one time had. Dual exh put on it . I've been under the car. And it's. Rust free every where ! Runs well no smoke. Trans seems. Good 3 of the tires are good the 4 th one has good tread but has weather checking . Org had a vin top but it's been removed no rust that I can see has hail dings on hood and trunk lid missing hood emblem . What I know that it needs is. The one tire, and needs. A steering coupler. Bad it thought it was a worn tie rod. Then found the coupler is real bad loose and could use a upper seal in steering box . But as you can see. The drivers seat is. Worn. The rest is. Good. The carpet. Could use a dye job but isn't tor n up bumper are good. But keep in mind it is. 1975. So expect some other defects thats not listed here were. LOC near scotts bluff. Nebraska.
