It's fueled by a rebuilt factory Carb with correct choke, Original Intake, MSD plug wires, new coil, new starter, newer dual 2.5" exhaust, turbo style mufflers with tail pipes and chrome GT tips. The car has recently had new belts, new fluids, new battery. All suspension components, and brakes are in good working condition. The trans is a stock Manual 3 speed with newer clutch. The rear end is a stock, with new bearings and fluids. This car runs strong, and is a blast to drive.EXTERIORThis Pony has a very slick paint job, on a straight, solid, rust and dent free body. The car was professionally painted with PPG basecoat/ clearcoat, Ford Red, and has been well kept and well maintained for shows and cruise in's, and shows mirror like reflections as can be seen in the pictures. I would rate the paint a strong 9 to 9.5. It also has nice chrome bumpers front and rear, and all new emblems. Power top works perfectly, boot included. The doors, under hood and trunk jams are very nice as well. The undercarriage is solid. The floors, wheel wells, trunk, and frame are all pretty solid. All weatherstrip, and felts are nice. The Ford has a very nice set of New American Racing Torq Thrust 2 polished aluminum wheels, 14 X 6 fronts and 14x 7 rears with good tires. The car has a nice stance and gets looks and compliments everytime I take it out. INTERIORThis 66 has a very clean, stunning red and white, Deluxe Pony interior. The front and rear seats are in perfect condition. The door panels are in perfect condition as well. Car has new carpet, and new Mustang floor mats. The glass and chrome trim around the glass, are in nice condition. Car has very nice light up Pony sill plates. The dash, gauges, and dash pad are very nice as well. All brake and turn signal, exterior and interior lights work. All gauges work as they should as well. This Mustang has a JVC cassette deck, FM / Am radio. 1939 Ford Standard Woodie Wagon Street Rod. The wood is Hard Maple. I tried to pick out lumber with as much curl in it as I could find. I purchased 3 times as much lumber as I needed to be able to use the best curl in what I had to choose from. The panels are figured African Sapele. The wood was finished with 8 coats of Marine grade varnish. The paint is base/clear. The dash and steering wheel was wood grained by a Hydrographic Water Transfer Printing process and cleared. All 3 seats have new springs from Synders Antique Auto. Heat and A/C are supplied by a Vintage Air unit. Freon is 134a. Tilt chrome steering column. Intermittent wipers. Functioning cowl vent. Floor is covered with Dynamat below the carpet. Power steering and power brakes. Tinted glass is all new. Front door glass rolls up and down, rear doors and quarter panels are sliding as original. The Chassis is the original frame boxed with custom X-member. Powder coated black and clear. Front and rear suspension is C4 Corvette Forged Aluminum with Coilover Springs. The rear axle is a Dana 44 limited slip with 3.54 gear ratio. Drilled and slotted rotors. Ford Thunderbird power rack and pinion. Custom front sway bar. Dual power brake booster. Brake lines, fuel lines, and trans cooler lines are all stainless. Dual exhaust is stainless. Fuel tank is stainless. 16" steel wheels are powder coated. Stainless bumpers. The engine is a new Ford Motorsports 302. Ford advertised it at 340 HP. Aluminum heads, roller cam, roller lifters. Serpentine belt system from Street and Performance. The intake is a vintage Edelbrock 4x2 Cross ram. The carburetors are Barry Grant. Walker copper/brass radiator with thermostat operated electric fan. The transmission is a rebuilt Ford AOD with new pump and new valve body. The car runs and drives well. With the 3.54 gears and over drive trans, it does very well on the interstate. Trans shifts into O/D around 45 -50 MPH depending on how much throttle you are giving it. Engine runs cool on hot days, and A/C makes the inside comfortable.
