1997 Ford F-150 SuperCab I'm selling my F-150 due to purchasing a newer one. It has been a great truck and if it were a crew cab I would not be selling it but with two small children it made it difficult to get them in and out of car seats in the back with the half doors. Engine: It is a 4.6L V8 with 247XXX miles on it. I installed new plugs and wires early this year and has had regular oil changes in the time I have owned it. The check engine light comes on and off but I don't really know why as it seems to run just fine. There are no real leaks that I have noticed even with the higher mileage. I have never had to top off the oil or anything. Transmission: It is an automatic and I had it replaced last year to the original one losing its forward gears. The replacement transmission has less than two thousand miles on it, never had even a hiccup since it was replaced. Body: The pictures show it all. Yes there is some cab corner rust and you can see the damage to one bed side but it's been that way since I purchased it. Other than the obvious issues the paint is good and shiny and looks good. Interior: The interior is in really great shape as you can see other than the headliner, which is sagging and has some holes in it. Everything is as I purchased it The power windows and locks work, the AC blew cold last summer but so far this summer seems to be less cold so I imagine it needs a charge as the compressor does kick on. It has an aftermarket radio that was in it when I purchased it; however, I bought a factory radio with harness to install and it will come with the truck. Etc: It has a bedliner in it and I've used this truck for only light duty stuff since I've had it. I've never abused the truck and never been mistreated. It's far from perfect but the pictures show it all. The asking price reflects the condition of truck it is but I would drive it to and from with no worries.
