Super low miles and always garaged and always under a cover in the garage. I doubt you could find another 07 GT as close to new condition. Paint is impeccable: no dings, scratches, chips, dents or scrapes. No curb rash under the front spoiler, nothing! Black paint is mirror-like and waxed about every month. Every option was purchased when new, except the Shaker 1000 subwoofer that takes up trunk space. Automatic transmission. Premium interior aluminum trim, Shaker 500 watt 6 CD changer with 8 speakers, Aux line in, Sirius Satellite radio, 18" polished Bullitt aluminum wheels, brand new BFG KDWS tires installed (less than 700 miles), leather sport bucket seating, driver and passenger power and heated seats, front and rear floor mats (like new), keyless entry + remote trunk release, rear spolier, hood scoop, Pony engine dress up option, bright rolled exhaust tips, and the rare option black CLOTH convertible top. Essentially this is a California Special without the cheesy side strips/scoops (to each his own though!). This car is original, unmolested and unmodded with the exception of what I think is a tasteful but easily reversible change: I thought the OE plastic GT badges looked cheap, so I applied 1967 Mustang GT fender badges in cloisonne. New owner has the choice of the 67 badges, or I can refit the original plastic badges. New Optima red top battery installed 3 months ago. Here's one of the straightest and cleanest 1st generation Ford Explorers around. This is a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT 2WD. It is a two owner vehicle that spent its whole life in South Carolina. It has 183,XXX miles and runs, shifts and drives good. There is paperwork showing that the transmission was rebuilt in 2010 at about 140,000 miles to the tune of over $1,200.The wheels and tires have been upgraded from the stock 15" to 18" rims taken off of a late model Jeep Wrangler. The tires are Goodyear Eagle GS-A with great tread. I removed all the seats and cleaned the upholstery thoroughly. It has a new Dual car stereo with Bluetooth and USB connectivity for your iPod.Now obviously this is a 22 year old Ford, so there are a couple issues. The air conditioning is not working. I was told a new compressor was installed, but it must have a leak somewhere in the system. The fuel gauge is not working, so more than likely the sending unit needs to be replaced. Not a terribly expensive part, but I just didn't want to drop the fuel tank and replace it. It's easy to set the trip meter every time you fill up. The rear power windows are not working correctly, but will include new gear sets for the window motors. This is a very common issue on Fords from this era.This would make a nice little first vehicle for someone or a good work beater to go back and forth to work in. And it looks nice for the money.
