I am selling a 1985 Mustang LX convertible. Car is in above average to good shape overall. Original miles! I bought this car to play around in and I ended up doing a lot of work to it. I recovered the front seats and they match the original interior. The back seats are in good shape. I have installed a new top along with all of the fasteners and wires and lines. Power Top opens and closes as it should. Car runs well and I drive it almost every day. Tires are in good shape. Everything works on the car. A/C blows cold but has a very small leak somewhere so you have to add Freon every now and then. Heat works fine. I have installed a new Sony radio which has the USB and front AUX features. Motor runs great but could probably use a good tune up in the future. Valve cover gaskets leak a little, I have bought the gaskets but have not had time to replace them. I will throw those in. Transmission shifts fine with no problems I have also bought new Ford emblems for the front and back that I will throw in. Car burns a little bit of oil if you drive it hard. Car has original paint and it looks decent but up close it has a few thin spots. Has a few dinks here and there but nothing serious. Car is road worthy and you would have no problem driving it home to anywhere or I can help with shipping that the buyer would arrange. This is a classic car and in some states would qualify for Antique plates. No rust, body and chassis are in great shape. Would be a great car to put a 5.0 motor in.
