1932 Ford Roadster, titled in Nebraska as a 32 Ford Roadster. Professionally built for a winner of the lottery and as such it has many high dollar/quality options that I could not justify with my own build. This is what attracted me to the car when I purchased it. I now have a build in progress which makes it available. This roadster needs nothing but a new owner to drive it. It is based on a TC! Fully boxed frame, with the rear frame horns bobbed off. Motor is a mild 305 roller cam Chevy motor and 700R4 overdrive -- anyone can drive it. The brakes are 4 wheel disk with power assist - also has a parking brake– the steering is Unisteer and is best I have ever driven. The body is a Rats Glass with lengthened doors and passenger area. The Duval style windshield does an excellent job of deflecting the wind when the top is not on. The top included is a lift off that is nicely upholstered inside with black convertible top material on the outside. The front suspension is either chrome or stainless steel. Hubs and rotors are Wilwood. It has a chrome uni-leaf spring. Front end has custom one-off stainless nerf bars with flamed brackets. The rear end is and 8” Ford with a polished Street and Performance quick change cover. It fools a lot people. Exhaust is stainless. There is great attention to detail in routing fuel and brake lines as well as wiring. The seat is a custom unit that is fully adjustable and very comfortable. The upholstery is ultra leather and has a nice soft feel. The gauges are one-off Classic Instruments – all electric. Wheels are American Torque Thrust – 16” rear and 15” front. Tires are Firestone Indy 500. This Roadster was used for several years by Performance Rod and Custom (PRC) – it was called the PRC cool deuce. A major product for PRC is aluminum radiators and cooling components. It has basically all the products they sell on it and will sit at idle on any hot day without overheating. They featured this roadster on their catalogs – still having one picture in their current one. Recently, I had the chance to visit with Duane Davis the owner of PRC and he related how disappointed he and his wife were after they sold it. It is a very fun car to drive. He even offered to give a reference on the car if any potential buyer wants to call him – his number is 812-897-5920. The car is located in central Nebraska and I am willing to assist with shipping or may be able to deliver if not too far for a fee. I would not buy a car like this without talking to the owner and asking questions – name is Gary and you can reach me at 308-390-0662.
