1960 Ford Starliner Frame off restoration. Over $85K plus invested plus the cost of the vehicle. Ford 312 Y block plus AOD 4 speed transmission. 3300 miles since restoration. Engine has a nice rumble but you can here it a block or two away at acceleration. I will include Yellow/black YOM plates if vehicle is going to be registered in California. If vehicle is leaving state then I will keep plates. Comes with clear CA title. Here's a list of what has been done- Paint/body- Frame off Floorboards, trunk, quarter panels are solid White exterior paint frame painted flat back Shaved trunk key- open via remote cable behind front seat All chrome/stainless chromed and or polished. There is a lot of pieces and was around $10k in chroming/polishing Hallogen H4 headlights New front windshield New rubber trim through out Engine/Transmission Ford 312 Y block- approx $15k+ invested in long block rebuild Previous owner said it dynoed in the 350HP range (i don't recall if that was at the rear wheels) Rebuilt with 3100 miles Aluminum heads (which are rare and expensive if you know Y blocks) Roller rockers ARP bolts mostly through out polished intake,air cleaner, valve covers Dual carburetors Reds Headers custom made for this set up Has exhaust and mufflers but is loud when you push down on the accelerator Polished/chrome front accesories Borgeson Saginaw power steering pump set up for hydraboost braking Ford AOD automatic transmission with converter to adapt to Y block MSD Distributor, ignition box and Starter Griffin Radiator with dual SPAL electric fans Lokar dipsticks,linkage,trunk release,shifter assembly braided lines through out including AN fittings/braided lines on power steering/brake set up Fuel tank cleaned/sealed Electric fuel pump (mounted next to fuel tank) Polished driveshaft Optima Red top battery Suspension- Rack and Pinion power steering conversion Ridetech Front/rear coilovers- you can go back and adjust ride height up/down if you don't like the stance. Fatman Fab upper/lower control arms Ridetech 4 link in back (removed leaf springs) Tires/wheels- Schott 18" front and 20" rear tires with BF Goodrich tires at all 4 corners Wilwood 13" rotors/brakes at all 4 corners Hydratech braking hydraboost set up with Wilwood master cylinder- Outstanding braking power. It is better than my new modern vehicle. Interior- Flaming River Steering Column Billet Specialties Steering wheel wrapped to match interior Amazing Custom upoulstory throughout interior and trunk. The interior work was outstanding and cost approx $15k. Look at pictures for all the details. Door panels and kick panels custom made 1963 Galaxie front bucket seats and center console EZ wiring fuse block and all new wiring through out vehicle Classic Instruments custom gauges retrofitted to instrument cluster with LED lights- Fuel, Temp, Oil, RPM, Odometer Vintage Air heating/cooling set up with controller in dash (no a/c hooked up) $9k sound system with Audison controller in ash tray. Plug in your phone or aftermarket piece for sound, 3 10" woofers, 2 way speakers at all 4 corners, 2 Amplifiers Juliano's seat belts Known issues- People you don't know will come up to you and compliment the car and want to take a picture of it Windshield wiper motor is installed but no wipers/capped off for look Chrome on grille is peeling in some areas. Not noticeable unless you get within 12" of it and even then you may not notice Transmission in good working condition but shifts quickly at high RPM- some may like that and some may want to lower stall speed in converter or via rear end gears Fuel gauge not working. Ohm range on gauge is different from sending unit. Bought an adaptor to mate them but haven't got it working yet. Factory radio not hooked (by design) up but LED light is working to light up front to match gauges. Temp gauge reads hotter than it is. Sensor located on back of engine which isn't ideal. I took readings with temp gun at thermostat and radiator and it was normal. Electric fans kick on at 195 degrees as they should.
