It has an excellent running 360 with 4 spd transmission. Seriously this thing runs and drives excellent. Everything works!! I'm selling my 1968 Mustang. It has a 289 V8 engine Automatic transmission. The previous owner rebuilt the engine put a new rebuilt transmission in it and new tires & brakes they made the car drive very nice. I DO NOT KNOW THE EXACT MILAGE ON THE CAR THE ODOMETER SAYS 21232 BUT IT COULD HAVE MORE. All the lights except for the reverse lights work. The brakes are manual drum brakes and there's no power steering. The previous owner didn't do anything to the body. Since I have had it I only put a few miles on it mainly because I didn't want to drive it until it was painted. I went through the whole entire car and removed all the rust I replaced the floor panels and put new carpeting in. I have a ton of labor hours put into just the body of this car. I had the car striped down to bar metal then had it painted. It just got out of the paint shop a few weeks ago (beginning of September). The paint is only a base coat it's not a base coat clear coat and it's not show quality perfect but there is no runs in it and it really shines. The paint is a solid red no pearl or metallic in it but the bright red paint really makes the car beautiful. I had my wife pick the color out and the painter said it was one of the most expensive colors he has sprayed in a very long time. I've already had a lot of compliments on the car and people tell me how beautiful the color is. There is some rips and tears in the headliner so it will need to be replaced. The headliner was going to be one of the last things I did on the car because I ended up sewing up the rips and to me it wasn't a high priority. the dash, center column, and rear set are in excellent condition no rips, tears, or fading. The 2 front seats are not stock it looks like they came out of a later model ford. The front seats are blue. they do have some tears in them and they don't recline very far forward so it makes it hard for bigger people to get into the back seat. The passenger seat does not slide forward it is put all the way back. The driver seat does move forward and back like it should. I put black seat covers over the front seats and it makes the inside of the car look nice. Besides the things that were just mentioned (front seats and headliner) the inside is in excellent condition. The front bumper is bent a little. Both front and rear bumpers will need to be rechromed. Overall this mustang is in great condition but it is not show quality yet, it needs a few little things done to it but not much. The car runs great I just took a little cruise up to Eugene which is about 2.5 hours from my house. The car ran great didn't give me any trouble at all. I haven't done anything to the engine except for a oil change. I do know that it has an electronic ignition in it (no points). It has new brake lines, new drums, new master cylinder, New transmission lines, new electronic fuel pump. I do not know how many original miles are on the car the odometer says 21,202. I also don't know how many miles are on the new rebuilt transmission or the rebuilt engine but I do know that there isn't very much. The car has been stored in my garage ever since I purchased it. I am selling it because work has slowed down a lot and I need to pay off some debt. If you have any questions please feel free to email. I am asking $12,000.00 OBO I have a lot of pictures of the car and the work that I have done to the car. If you would like to see them please let me know and I will email some of them to you. Thanks.

I purchased this vehicle last December (12/2014). Originally, I was planning to move into a house with a garage. This car was going to be a hobby, not a daily driver. The plans fell through, and I've stayed in an apartment, with curb side parking only. I don't drive this car much and have decided that I need to sell it. I just really love this car and hate to part with it, but I'm just not in a position to work on it. I took this car to the shop and wound up having a lot of work done to it (new starter; valve cover gasket; oil change; transmission filter replace; camshaft replaced; timing belt replaced; hoses replaced; alternator belt replaced; shift lever seal replaced; transmission pan filter replaced; coolant flush; transmission fluid change: ect.). I have had difficulty shifting into second(I'm no mechanic, but it took longer than normal to shift over into second, while driving). The last few times it was a lot better and I believe it might have had something to do with the fluid change (shifted perfect prior). Prior to my ownership the car had new brakes and tires placed on it (both in very good shape). They also had the carb rebuilt. It starts up and runs very good, the idle is decent. The mechanics of this car are excellent based on its age. Although, it does still need a bunch of interior work, I don't see it costing to much (the dash cap, carpet, and head liner can be bought off of eBay), more than anything it needs tlc, and someone who enjoys this kind of thing. Hopefully there is someone out there, in a better position for this type of hobby. This is a perfect starter car for someone interested in auto restoration. I will include a manual, the auto shop invoices that run back to the original purchase (had 3 owners before me, with the original owner owning it up to 2008). I've been starting it once a week and driving it up and down the curb, to keep it in running order. I just don't have the time or place to work on it. Pintos are getting hard to find and I feel this is a prime specimen. Let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for looking. I will consider any "reasonable" offer. -bmf p.s.It could be used as a daily drive without any of the interior work done.
