2001 Ford Excursion XLT I purchased this from the original owner its in absolutely excellent condition. I recently bought a brand new truck with the 6.7L and don't want to drive anything else so all of my other vehicles are being sold. I had all of the fluids changed along with the fuel, oil, and air filters. This is completely stock, no intake, exhaust, programmer, or anything of the sort, it has never been modified or taken off-roading. The engine is the powerful and legendary 7.3L with the factory intercooled turbocharger. It fires right up without smoking or any issues. I recently put two new batteries in it when I had all of the fluids changed. The oil has been changed every 3-5k miles since it was brand new. The transmission goes into gear and shifts very well. It does not have and shuttering, slippage, noise, or other known issues. This is a non catalyst which means it never had a catalytic converter. The exhaust is still original along with nearly every other part of the vehicle INCLUDING the windshield! I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere! The tires are probably 65% in the front and %40 remaining in the rear. The exterior is in good condition, the paint is nice and shiny and has never been touched up or repaired. The doors open and close as they should, the shocks on the hood and rear liftgate work well. The front bumper has a few small dents as you can see in the pics, the rear has a bit of damage to the drivers side causing the backup sensors to not function properly. The LH rear pillar between the back and side window has a decent sized dent as you can see in the pictures, the LH front fender also has a few small dings/dents but nothing significant. It has the factory class 3 tow hotch installed along with a trailer brake controller inside. The interior is in excellent condition, all of the door panels are in great shape along with all of the rest of the interior. The carpet is in good shape, it still has the original floor mats installed. I had all of the windows with the exception of the windshield retinted, the tint they had installed in 2001 was deteriorating. The leather on the seats is in good shape, its got the normal cracking to be expected but nothing torn or coming apart. The headliner is nice, its got all of the rear A/C controls intact along with the overhead console. All of the lock actuators have been replaced, the original ones were getting a bit tired. The windows are power and operate very well. The top of the steering wheel is worn just like they all are. 2000 Ford Excursion Limited I purchased this a couple years ago and have absolutely LOVED IT SINCE! I recently bought a brand new truck with the 6.7L and don't want to drive anything else so all of my other vehicles are being sold. I had all of the fluids changed along with the fuel, oil, and air filters. When I purchased this it was completely stock down to the floor mats. I added an AFE Stage 2 intake, Hypertech 40hp/80tq programmer, 4in MBRP turbo back exhaust, and several other appearance items listed below. The last road trip with 4 full sized guys and all of our gear averaging 80mpg it got 18.7mpg, driving like a normal person it will easily get over 20! The engine is the powerful and legendary 7.3L with the factory intercooled turbocharger. It fires right up without smoking or any issues. I recently put two new batteries in it and about a year ago I had the glow plugs, module, and valve cover gaskets replaced with OEM parts.The oil has been changed every 3-5k miles since it was brand new. The transmission goes into gear and shifts very well. It does not have and shuttering, slippage, noise, or other known issues. I had the transmission rebuilt a year ago with all new parts including a triple disk torque converter. This is a non catalyst which means it never had a catalytic converter. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere! I added a set of 22in wheels on it a couple years ago, I had all of the front wheel bearings replaced before a long trip and it threw the alignment out of spec which caused wear on the outsides of the tires in the front. As soon as I noticed the wear I had it aligned and it immediately corrected the wear problem. I never replaced the tires and they have been wearing fine ever since. All of the brakes including rotors were replaced within the last 9 months. The exterior is in good condition, the paint is nice and shiny The doors open and close as they should, the shocks on the hood and rear liftgate work well. I installed an 08+ rear bumper on it about a year and a half ago because it looks a lot better, within 24 hours I dented it and its remained that way every since. It has the factory class 3 tow hitch installed along with a trailer brake controller inside. I installed a 2007 nose off of an F350 a couple years ago as an upgrade, not because of a collision. It has a set of hi/low beam HID's. At about the same time I had overload airbags installed in the rear in case you have this thing fully loaded or a trailer behind it won't squat. I bought a cheapy aftermarket keyless entry remote for it which worked for about a week then died, I never messed with it again. The interior is in excellent condition, all of the door panels are in great shape along with all of the rest of the interior. The carpet is in good shape, no tears or big spots. I had all of the windows with the exception of the windshield tinted. The leather on the seats is in good shape, its got the minor cracking to be expected but nothing torn or coming apart. I installed a pair of front seats out of a new truck so both are heated and power. Refinished in base and clear. Powered by the original 390 cid motor that has been completely rebuilt. New pistons, rods, crank, cam, timing chain, heads rebuilt, engine bored .030, and many more new parts. Original rebuilt Cruise-o-Matic transmission. Power steering pump is new, power windows, power brakes and aftermarket A/C but still comes through the original vents. All brand new exhaust, brake lines, brakes, ball joints, tie rod ends, front and rear springs have been redone, new shocks, new fuel tank and rebuilt original rear end. As you can see in some of the pictures the interior chrome parts are all original with some pitting, scratches and dings. The mileage shows 75,375 on the odometer but I have no idea how many miles were actually on the car before restoring it. Exterior includes re-chromed bumpers front and rear, replacement mirrors, new tires, original spinner 1965 Thunderbird hubcaps and replacement fender turn markers New convertible top including power unit and hoses. Rebuilt flip lid motor, some new relays. Interior includes recovered seats, new carpet, new floor mats, aftermarket steering wheel, the door panels are the original ones and each of the arm rests have bad spots. Replacement (fit in stock openings) AM/FM Cassette stereo and speakers. Tilt away steering column. I could go on and on with everything else that has been replaced but like I mentioned above i have receipts for everything. Up for sale as-is is our 2000 Ford Expedition, with the nicer XLT trim level. This Expedition also has the larger 5.4 liter Triton V8 engine which is great for moving stuff around, hauling, and just a fun truck to drive around town. This Expedition also has a few choices for offroading and towing: AWD and two modes of 4WD. Fog ligts are great especially if you live up in Paradise! There are running boards, premium alloy (silver) wheels (which have been blacked out with removable plasti-dip), a multi disc CD changer, AC, a decent sound system (oem), removable third row, completely colapsable second row (huge amount of storage space!), power seats, power locks, power windows (all of them), ABS, power steering and the tow package is installed! The interior and exterior both show their age. The paint looks good from a distance but you will see some scratches which have been covered up from normal usage, no big dings dents or any actual non-cosmetic damage though. The driver seat has a small rip on the side that you can see, the power locks sometimes (when it is hot outside) take a few extra tries to get all of the doors unlocked. Why are we selling the Expedition? This car has been great to us, but my girlfriend just got a brand new Mazda 3. The Expedition is in need of a tuneup (oil, coolant flush, spark coils and plugs etc) and we cannot justify the cost when we have a brand new car that gets better gas mileage and is probably a little more practical for our use. Tires, tranny, brakes and all of that are working but the car does not run as good as it should, you can feel that the engine isn't putting out its full horsepower So, if you want a cheap Expedition with the 5.4 engine and all of the other features and are willing to put in a little bit of work or money, this truck is perfect for you. We have the title in hand as well as carfax, a few records we have and the truck just recently passed smog so we have that as well. 39 Ford series 60 hot rod project..I've been working off and on on this for the past 6yrs and since I am not getting any younger,I want to pass it on to someone that has more time to dedicate to it.. Rust free cab,bed+original frame since this truck has always lived its life in Ca. and Idaho..and is currently titled in my name in CA and non-opped..Glass is all in it..... 84 Iroc Z 305 Motor,700R4 and disc brake 3"42 posi rear..Motor is currently set-up with and Edelbrock semi-high rise with a small holley on it,but I still have the original TPI with harness and brain if you want to go down that road instead...you can choose which you prefer..Exhaust is run from the manifolds to just before the rear end..Had the motor running a year ago.....A-arm front suspension with GM disc brakes and rack and pinion...Brakes were plumbed and bled at that time,but I since had to drain the resevoir,so it needs to be done again...Probobly wouldn't be a bad idea to split at least the front calipers and re-seal them either.but that is your call....You'll need to connect the tilt column(not shown) that comes with it to the rack,wire it,and complete the cooling system for it to be able to run(cooling system not included) .Also,please note that the cab,bed,and front clip are sitting on the frame and are not bolted,down,so you'll need all the hardware to do this as well as the wood slat kit which is available through the aftermarket that would live under the cab and bed as they are not there....After that,interior,paint and body work of your choosing can be done as you like...or leave as is....it took 75 yrs to look this way,and it will never go back....so keep that in mind with whatever you plan..
