Immaculate 1968 Ford F-100 Ranger 2wd Long bed. I’ll start off by saying that this truck is no joke- it’s absolutely awesome! If you’re looking for a reliable F-100 that drives like a hotrod, you’ve found the one! Complete frame up restoration done in 2008 with very limited miles put on since that time. This truck is a daily driver. It's won a few local best in show awards- you won't be able to drive this around without someone wanting to stop and talk about it. It runs and drives absolutely perfect without a single mechanical issue whatsoever. Never overheated, never broken down, never left me stranded. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this truck to California tomorrow. The suspension and all bushings were replaced recently creating a smooth tight ride. No wiggles, jiggles, or vibrations of any kind. All lights work- turn signals, tail lights, brake lights…etc! Original truck bed light works! Headlights were just replaced. All fluids are fresh and ready to go. Full tune up just done! There are a few minor things to mention. 1. The horn is inoperable at the moment. The spring inside the steering wheel that allows the horn to make contact is missing. It must have popped out when replacing the original wheel. The horn does work, it will just need that spring to make the contact- super easy fix. 2. The heater fan blower motor quit working. I’m not sure if it’s the contact points for it, or motor itself. It gets plenty hot as is with just the heat on and no blower…plenty for even cold weather! The part is about $50 on line... Details: - Rebuilt 390 ci bottom end w/ 428 heads and intake- Mild Cam- brand new valve cover gaskets.- Newer Flowmaster dual exhaust from the headers back- sounds incredibly mean!- New exhaust manifold, and down pipe gaskets- Freshly rebuilt 3 spd. automatic C6 Camper Special transmission w/ a mild shift kit (spin the tires in second)- 100% accident free, rust free sheet metal- Power steering - Power brakes with all new brakes around- Posi 9” rear end- Beautiful dual stage paint all around- Aftermarket A/C- works perfectly- just recharged!- K&N air filter- Clarion stereo in perfect working order- Aftermarket sliding rear window. I love this upgrade, but also have the original back glass that will go with the truck.- Brand new BFG Radial tires- AR61 Outlaw wheels- Complete interior restore: Headliner, gas tank pad, trim pad and seat (have original blue sun visors that will go with the truck as well)- Perfect dash- New battery Bottom line, this is a solid running beautiful truck that you can confidently enjoy. Take it out on Sundays, or hop in for a road trip! It has countless hours and dollars spent preserving it’s original beauty. Up for sell is my 95 f150 xlt 2 wheel drive truck, very dependable truck, 152,800 miles on it, red and white two tone color, grey interior, i replaced the center console with a middle seat and seatbelt, stock chrome wheels, back seat, plastic bed liner, 5.0 302 motor with automatic transmission, no rust at all, I have owned this truck for the past 7 years, i have had almost no problems with it, ive put about 20,000 miles on it since i got, mainly used to haul stuff, no leaking or smoking, engine runs great, shifts good too, there are a few little things that are wrong with it that should be expected from a 20 year old truck, ibroke off the passenger side door handle a few weeks ago and never got around to replace($10 dollar part), the drivers window regulator is going out also, the dash is cracked, and the shifter doesn't match up with the correct letters on the gauge cluster but doesn't effect anything else, the room is faded, the only reason i am getting rid of is because i got a great deal on a newer truck that i could not pass up, and my wife says i cant keep this one now, email with any questions, thanks
