I acquired this truck when I lived in New Mexico and used it to move a 21 FT tandem axle trailer to East Texas on my way to Back East a number of years ago. It performs well and I have taken it down to Florida twice in the last 5 years for the winter. I drove it over the mountains from North Carolina 3 years ago. The truck has been sitting for a while and shows it. It starts right up and drives like always. The body has developed surface rust since coming back East but is in great shape otherwise. The bed has rusted thru in a few spots and has an 8 foot steel sheet over it. This is how it was when I bought it and I have hauled many loads back there with no trouble. Straight Six 300 motor has a D on the block and is not the original for this truck. I was told that it was from a MID-1970S Bronco. New steel timing gears added in last 8000 miles. This is the only serious engine work needed in the 12 years I have owned this truck. I have driven this truck for tens of thousands of mile and kept the oil and filters changed all along. The motor runs clean. Original 3 on tree was changed to 4 on floor with a granny by previous owner. I bought it with the Custom Topper on and this is included. The original Owner's Manual is included. Four tires with great tread and a good spare as well. As with any used vehicle there are some minor issues that need attention and are easy enough to remedy. It is a good one to restore and the price is fair; I hope you agree. I prefer local pickup and payment in cash/cashier check for the balance after deposit.
