It does have rust so most exterior panels will need to be replaced or repaired. You would have to make your own judgement on the condition of the frame rails - the front looks ok, the rear rails and trunk drop offs will likely need some work. The odometer is showing 52K miles but the speedo doesn't work and the title states the mileage as Not Applicable. This car is in really nice shape and appears very solid, consistent with a car from out west, and to have been repainted a few years ago. The upholstery and top are new. It has power steering, four wheel drum brakes, power top, and a working AM radio. It rides and drives very well and would make you a very fun weekend cruiser. All original. 1968 Ford Fairlane 500, 289, V8, 2BBL carb. (New). Original 2BBL Autolite carb is in trunk and is operational and can be rebuilt. I got this car used. It has leaks, it's 47 years old. Parts I have new that I have not put on yet. Front left motor mount, new plugs and wire set, full tune up. Transmission filter and gasket, valve cover gaskets. Just put a new water pump on, upper and lower radiator hose, new belt, new master cylinder last year when I had the brakes adjusted. Radiator needs sealed. You are welcome to bring any mechanic and look it over to your heart's content. I *THINK* the engine is shot. Not sure. No rust holes. Floor pans are solid. Body is straight. Sell or trade.
