Always garaged, never left out, even over night. Took "First Place Street Rod" in the 2009 Rocky Mountain Street Machines show. '31 Model "A" pickup, all steel, (no fiberglass) new fenders, running boards and quarter panels, stainless steel front bumper. Two year frame up rebuild, boxed frame, original body and bed removed, 4" dropped front axle. Original hood, radiator shell, bed, cab and tailgate. Zero rust. Ford 302 V8 engine, rebuilt stock except for slightly modified cam. Less than 5,000 miles since rebuild. Headers, (4) speed automatic tranny. All drive train, tranny, drive shaft and rear end out of son Steve's '68 Mustang. Undercoated, disc brakes, tinted windshield. Tranny fan and cooler (for slow moving parades, if needed). Interior: pleated and rolled leather seat and door panels, carpet, headliner, spoon throttle, original replacement door handles and window cranks. Steel dash, (5) instrument cluster, windshield can still swing out. Replaced door window glass. Heater. Exterior padded top, not steel. Immaculate throughout. Bright red paint (Corvette "Victory red"). Bought it originally in San Diego, CA in 1984, from a family that owned it for 26 years, so I can account for 56 years of its life. Body was essentially original, but running gear was a hybrid: pre-WWII V8, '34 stick shift and original Model "A" rear end. Can be viewed at The Korner Shop at 1212 S. Main Street in Kalispell, MT.
