Have had a good bit of body work competed with only a couple of small areas that need attention. Around the gas tank in the trunk has some rust and needs repaired. Also the rear floor pans need to be replaced. I have the left floor pan. The right floor pan was replaced but they did a poor job it needs to be re-worked. The roof had some rust from the original vinyl top but it has been repaired.Engine is a 302 that I had rebuilt in 1994 and has about 5k miles on it. (It came with the car when I purchased it) Transmission is a C4 and was rebuilt at the same time as the engine. The engine needs new lifters and a cam and both would need new seals but should be good to go other than that. I have a lot of chrome engine parts as well as a set of 351 heads that I was going to install. I had also planned to install a roller cam and lifters. Have all glass except rear. Suspension steering & brakes, electrical system, gauges and interior are all there and are original and need reworked. Invested over $12k in parts and body work so this is a great deal! Good ole solid 68 Ford..Bought from my buddies neighbor..He put new timing gears and timing belt.Still backfired on him so some after some cash and building him a haybarn I got it home..Figured it needed a head gasket and donut gasket..Had the heads off and saw a bad valve..Got new valves in the head and it reworked..Then put in a new coil, condenser and points.It purrs right along..Quiet, strong motor and clutch..It's missing a piece of trim on the passenger bedside and the heater core..He said he just kept it in the barn and only drove it around on nice days since the core went out 7 years ago...Will need tires..Any questions just ask..Bit of rust bubbling up in passenger fender..Paint rubbed off below the gas cap and a bit of surface rust there..bit of rust underside of bedrail.Altogether a good ole truck..Has a few scrapes, dings and dents..Biggest dent is in the hood and grill...I call em "whiskey dents"..
