1970 FORD F100 RANGER XLT460 WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION This Beautiful Ford F100 has been my project for me for the last three years and I sparred no expense making it the bad ass truck I wanted. But with time comes changes and I am reluctantly selling it. I suppose I will start with the engine. I replaced the original running 360 motor, headers and original automatic transmission (which I still have all for new owner) and replaced with a rebuilt 460 with mild cam and Holley 750 double pumper. Also rebuilt the transmission just in case. Both have less then 1,200 miles. I also replaced every single part under the hood with new parts including the radiator. It's a new truck now! I have over eighteen thousand dollars $$$ in receipts for the new owner. I can't list everything here. The drive line was replaced to fit the new engine and trans. It has new headers and dual exhaust. This truck sounds awesome and as you can imagine hauls ass! It has 4 brand new Cooper Cobra G/T radial tires. I had line lock installed. New carpet kit inside with wood steering wheel. Yes I have the original wheel. Sun Tach. Power steering. It has the back fiberglass top that came with the truck when I purchased it. This truck still has plenty of patina. I had some of the lower white resprayed but the green is older paint but not original of course. The only boo boo I did is two scratches on the back passenger side. I included pictures of right after I did it and then I put some touch up paint on them for now. Something I was hauling slipped off the side. I removed the side gas tank because I wanted to lower it. The truck starts right up, runs perfect, and is always stored in my garage. I'm sure I left out plenty but the pictures and video tell the story. It one an award the first time I showed it, even though it is a driver not a show truck. This is a 2006 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H. It was one of 500 produced for the 40th Anniversary of the "Original" 1966 Hertz Rent-A-Racer. It is near mint in every respect. Everything is working. It has all the power equipment that it should from the Ford factory and all the upgrades that came from Shelby American in Las Vegas. Virtually all 500 were automatics. Every Hertz Mustang started out life as a standard Black Mustang GT...then it was shipped to Shelby American and they did some pretty serious upgrades to the car. Gold center stripes were added over the center of the car from front to tail. Gold side stripes added to the rocker panels....to this day....the only Black and Gold Mustangs are the GT-H series for Hertz. The original Mustang Alloys were used to save some expense, but the Pirelli P Zero tires, were an upgrade. Shelby also installed a Sirius Satellite radio control on the center console of every GT-H. Some were removed after Hertz service. This one is still fully in tact and works!! I added the 40th Anniversary Floor mats. One of the last sets available. Includes the Trunk mat too. The first owner also bought the GT-H "Cap Package". It consists of the GT-H wheel center caps and the Oil Filler, Washer Filler, Coolant Over-Flow, Power Steering Fluid, and Power Brake Fluid Caps under the hood. He also replaced all the standard star bolts in and around the engine compartment with stainless steel scalloped cap bolts. It all looks fantastic! I have all the original caps and bolts. They will go with the car to the new owner. An original set of Ford floor mats is also included. Now here's a partial list of what American Shelby did to upgrade this Mustang to GT-H status....3.55 rear end. X-Pipe Exhaust, including over-sized stainless steel dual exhaust tips. Handling Package including front and rear Torsion bars, Struts in front and Shocks in the rear. Power Package: Exhaust, and Cold Air Intake.Front grill, first owner also added the lower stainless bar grill. Front Fascia. Side scoops on left and right sides.Hood Pins and brackets with retaining wire. New Hood. Shelby badging all around including special car number and Carrol Shelby simulated autograph on the center section of the dashboard. Side "Hertz" badges. Also an engine security wire seal. It's still there. It was to prevent someone from renting it and swapping out the engine for a standard V-8. I have all the original Hertz paperwork that was given to the first private party owner. Hertz Check-in sheet. Ford Check-in sheet.Original Invoice. Original Window Sticker from Ford. Original Window Sticker from American Shelby. And the Original MSO that Ford crated and gave to Hertz to license the car. The original California title issued to Hertz. This one was delivered to San Diego, Ca. Where it spent it's entire in-service life. The first owner also lived there. I bought the car from him and drove it home to Portland, Or in January, 2014, last year. The original set of Hertz California lip-stick plates are here and go with the car. Yes they are listed on the Hertz title. There's a one-year old Firestone Battery in the car, oil was changed and wiper blades installed. Now for some bonus material....The first private party owner which Hertz sold to, was supposed to receive and invitation to buy an original artwork piece from Ford, showing the first "66 Hertz racer along side the current "06 Hertz Mustang. I was fortunate enough to be able to get one of the last three in existence. It is shown in the pics below. It has a special plaque listing the car number 0091 and the first owners name. It is HAND SIGNED by Carrol Shelby. I also have the original invitation that was sent out, but no envelope. It is mint and there is a certificate of authenticity that was sent with each glicee' print. I also bought a reproduction showroom banner that Hertz would have displayed at the rental counter. It goes with the car and is shown in the pictures. In addition...first owner bought a replacement leather seat cover for ...someday?? It goes with. An extra set of gold rocker panel side stripes. And a spare matching alloy wheel with a Pirelli P Zero mounted to it. He did not want to be caught with the compact spare tire in case he had a flat....he never did. The car runs and drives like new. 1972 Ford Courier – not another one like it. Extremely clean and very straight, low miles, long list of improvements that make this the sweetest little truck out there. 75,000 miles – which is barely 1750 miles per year or if you prefer, less than 150 per month or 5 per day! That’s just crazy in the right way. The 1.8 motor and 4 speed tranny are factory but performance has been given a bit of a boost with a set of headers and a fresh Weber 2-barrel carb. It’s just been tuned so it runs strong with the exhaust giving off a nice little rasp when you’re accelerating. The truck has been mildly lowered and it comes to a quick straight stop courtesy of disc brakes. If you know these trucks you know they come with a 6 bolt pattern that makes finding decent wheels impossible. Rather than let impossible win we installed custom rear axles from Dutchman Motorsports with 4 lug hubs and in front we had the hubs plugged and re-drilled for 4 lugs. End point, we’re pretty sure this is the only Courier out there sporting vintage correct Minilite wheels direct from the UK. As for tires, less than 1,000 miles on the new treads that were installed with the wheels. The interior has Dyamatt under the new carpeting and the new upholstery included the addition of seat heaters for those chilly mornings. There’s a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth/hands free in the dash and the truck has had an alarm system installed. The only thing this truck will need to be ready to start cruising is your cooler tied down in bed. Now for the fine print: This is an as is, where is sale so funds must be received and SECURED before the truck goes anywhere. The price is more than fair and reasonable so don’t waste your time and mine with silly offers. We are not in the car hauling business so transportation if required is entirely up to you. If you are desperate I can put the truck on my trailer and deliver it to you but remember you need to be desperate as it won’t be cheap.
